the court of appeals in the Brooklyn Union Gas case which was construed KS having a favorable effect on Consolidated Gs litigation Brook lyn Union Gas sold at 113 nd 125 against a last previous sate of Itt Government bonds unchanged other Noon The tock market developed a firmer tone after the first hour and although the volume of business was was enough buying from outside sources to cause a material in prlce Union Pacific contin- ued the leader moving up from H6 to 147 Reading from the lowest rates of the early trading and fractional gains were in a number of the other usually active railroad shares Amalgamated was in good demand and after selling as low as MH moved up to 95 2 p selling wave struck the market in the afternoon represent- ing change in the position of the room to
