Burbank City FCU Ends 2017 On A Roll. Building on the progress made in 2016, Burbank City Federal Credit Union once again experienced positive growth throughout 2017. For that, we’d like to thank the loyal Members who bank with us for the continuing success of this Credit Union.
Whether you’re a depositor who is looking for safety and easy access to your life’s savings, a parent wanting to finance your teenager’s new car, or a growing family taking that big step of buying your very first home, Burbank City is dedicated and ready to help.
Our Members tell us that they expect and deserve top-notch, knowledgeable service. We agree. So much so that our ongoing mission is to continually refine our existing financial services, keep our staff trained and knowledgeable on the latest economic news and trends, and offer new products which contribute to creating a better banking experience.
In an effort to expand our commitment to providing accessible home mortgage products, the Credit Union made a strategic decision to rename Burbank City Mortgage Services as Fit Mortgage so that every borrower looking to finance a home would know that they can get one without the requirement of Membership.
Fit Mortgage, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Credit Union, is committed to providing expert home loan financing options to all with the same friendly service that our Credit Union is known for.
As the name implies, Fit Mortgage offers loans which are designed to meet the needs of each individual borrower. We do it with exceptional service, as well as reduced fees and costs (no gimmicks or false enticements). Fit Mortgage is available to all Californians looking to purchase or refinance the home of their dreams. Please tell your family, friends and co-workers about this great opportunity.
When it comes to technological achievements, your Credit Union looks to put the best tools in the hands of
our Membership. We don’t necessarily go live at first sight, but we bring the products to you when we feel the Membership as a whole will benefit from a new service. We have expanded our credit and debit card services by adding instant-issue chip cards in our lobby. New Members can now come in, open their account and walk out with a complete set of debit and credit chip cards in a short time, on most days. Instant issue also allows Members to replace their lost or damaged cards in just minutes, rather than days.
In order to bring you additional services we began laying the groundwork in 2017 to provide mobile wallet services (Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc.), voice banking, extended call center hours, and more.
As a community partner and direct benefactor of being situated in an area with prominent organizations and associations, we proudly support many civic groups. A partial list includes: Family Promise of the Verdugos, Burbank Temporary Aid Center, Burbank-Magnolia Park Optimist Club, Supporters of Senior Services, Burbank Unified School District, Burbank Coordinating Council, Burbank Sunrise Kiwanis, Leadership Burbank, Family Service Agency, Burbank Educational Foundation, and the BUSD National Academy Foundation.
When it comes to better banking your Credit Union remains one of the best options for individuals and families in Southern California to gain access to the financial system. Thank you for making 2017 another year of progress, thank you for your Membership, and thank you for allowing us to share the successes of your Credit Union.
