Language arts In language arts I have learned grammar,

punctuation, and synonyms. all of those things I need help on. I am now

learning how to use punctuation. I also learned about books with friendship,

heroes, and inventions. one story that caught my attention was about a hat that could help people in the old west when there hat couldn't protect their eyes from the blinding light when this hat could

My favorite story or novel One of my favorite novel I read was

Maniac Magee because it was cool, funny, and showed how different colors can blend.

Another story I liked was “Boss Of The Plains” because it shows how a hat could make a difference to a persons life and head.

The hat could also be a decoy, a lady magnet, and a good hat for a hot summers day.

Social Studies I learned about Michigan's history and

how to keep the planet clean We studied about slavery, native

Americans, Europeans, and historical wars.

We also read about tough times and how they ended

Science I learned about endangered animals and

how to save them. We also wrote a research paper on how to save them.

We studied about ecosystems. We also learned how to keep animals safe.

Here are some way’s to stop polluting. Use a shovel instead of road salt. Don’t dump pollutants in the water. And don’t liter!

In Mathematics I learned how to divide, cut a pie into

fractions, find out the power of, and how to find the perimeter of a triangle.

We studied fractions and decimals and how to put the decimals in order like tenths, hundredths, and thousandths.

Strengths One of my strengths is reading I am

proud of this because it’s a great skill. Another strength is gym I am proud of

this because I am strong and athletic. I am good at caring about people

because I can make sure there okay then bring them to the office.

Goals My academic goal is to finish all of the

language arts packets. So far I am getting them in on time.

My personal goal is to turn in all of my home work in on time and so far I am getting my home work in.

Dear Mom and Dad Thanks for signing me up for this school

now I have a best friend. Thanks for coming. Thanks for getting me a tutor. I am thankful for you guys cheering me on through the year.
