PASTOR’S REPORT A Note from Ms. Susan - Children’s Minister

Welcome to Calvary Church on Mother’s Day. We want to honor every woman here today with a red rose, whether you are a mom or not. In today’s message, we are going to learn about a woman with a lot of woes to whom, in the midst of her hurts, God ministered His grace and mercy.

Next Sunday, May 19, is our Senior Sunday when we will recognize our high school graduates. Keith Lybrand will bring the morning message.

On Sunday, May 19, at 3:00 p.m., Calvary Church will ordain Francisco Barros to the gospel ministry. I would like to encourage our church family to join us for this ordination. Francisco and Camilla are from Brazil. He was a student at Texas Baptist Institute and is now serving on the faculty. Calvary Church is their family in America.

There will be NO evening service today to allow time with your families.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms joining us this morning! We hope you enjoy some muffins with your elementary and preschool kids. We also have several areas around the church for your family to take an impromptu picture with Mom. We pray you have a blessed day honoring your mom!
