Tariq Drabu advises that rather than heading off with the family for a day out and relying on stopping at a fast food outlet for some food or buying snacks on the road, make your own. By making your own snacks, you can ensure you make healthy choices that can help improve oral health at all times.

The top choices when it comes to health snacks includes crunchy fruits and vegetables which help improve saliva production. Saliva is responsible for helping keep your mouth alkaline and reduce the risk of acid damage in the long run.
