Instagram Live –Cheshire Down’s Syndrome Support (CDSS) GroupCheshire Down Syndrome Support (CDSS) Group is a small local charity dedicated to supporting families, children and young adults with Down’s Syndrome throughout the Cheshire region. Established in 2007, they are a parent-led group who are entirely self-funding and who rely on the generous support and continued hard work of their many volunteer fundraisers and family groups to succeed in their aims. The Volunteering and Mentoring Team will be hosting a live chat with CDSS to find out more about what they do and how volunteers can help them. Chapter Workshop This session will start at 2.30pmJoin local mental health charity, Chapter, for this lively, interactive wellbeing workshop, where you will learn some simple, practical tools and techniques to look after your wellbeing. During this 1-hour workshop, you will learn about:  

• Signs and symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression. 

• How to live well even when life throws you challenges. 

• Practical wellbeing techniques and activities you can build into your everyday life. 

• Where to get additional information and support. 

• How to support Chapter (if you would like to volunteer or fundraise for them). 

• You will also have the opportunity to: 

• Practise some simple wellbeing techniques. 

• Create your own wellbeing action plan. 

• Ask questions and interact with other participants to delve further into some of the topics covered.

Be prepared to join in and have fun - this workshop will be interactive!

Positive Affirmations & Meditation Join Lauren, streaming live from her garden, for a nature based guided meditation, helped along the way with positive affirmations. We will begin writing in a stream of consciousness, then we will focus our intentions, so bring a notepad and pencil. If possible, choose somewhere warm and comfortable to join us, with headphones to be more immersed. The aim is that you will leave relaxed, earthed, and confident in your intentions and goals.
