HERNE HILL AGRICAULTURAL SHOW Well Done and congratulations to all students who participated in the Herne Hill Agricultural Show last Friday. The diversity and standard of entries across all categories was fantastic and demonstrated the individual talents and creativity of all students. GRADE 2 SLEEPOVER On Tuesday night, our grade 2 students had their sleepover at school. The students had a fantastic night with lots of fun, games, food and movies. Well done to all the students on their behaviour and participation on the evening and to all the grade 1/2 staff who supported the students on this night. Mindfulness Club

Who’s Who Portrait Prize at the Geelong Gallery

Art Activities

Mindfulness club is available for all students every Monday at 1:30pm in Mrs Murray’s classroom.

We will practise yoga, breathing exercises, guided meditation, colouring and drawing.

Students can learn simple strategies to relax and keep calm. These strategies can be helpful to use when students feel slightly wor-ried or upset.

See you on Monday! Mrs Murray

Well done for a great week three everybody! I can't believe that this term is going so quickly! I'd just like to mention the swimmers last week, well done to everyone who participated in the two week swimming program, I'm sure you all learned lots and had a lot of fun!

Next Thursday, the 5/6's will be competing in the T20 Blast (Kanga Cricket Competition.) They will be competing with several different schools, it will be a lot of fun!

Also next week, the whole school will be participating in the Walkathon! The Walkathon is an annual event we do at Herne Hill Primary School. We will be walking to Rippleside Park. The grade Prep-2's will be walking 3km and the 3-6's will be walking or running 5.5km. There will also be a sausage sizzle at Rippleside Park as well.

I'm looking forward to all of these major events that we will be participating in Term Four! Well done everyone! Amelia Archer-Logo School Co-captain

Grade 5/6 students have been working in clay a 3D sculpture.

Their birds could be real or imaginary. We have been concentrating on form and texture in sculpture.

We are so proud of the 96 students (from Grades 3 - 6) who were selected to have their portraits displayed in the Geelong Gallery. The exhibition goes to the 10th December.
