APPLY AND ENROLLEarly applicants for any of the three campuses have a special opportunity! UW Oshkosh will cover the cost of a student’s application fee if they submit the online application by Oct. 31, 2020. Students can visit uwo.sh/we-pay to learn more.

This year, in accordance with UW System policy, UW Oshkosh will not require ACT or SAT scores for the admission decision. Students may still choose to submit test scores, as they may be used as evaluation criteria for scholarships, the Honors College and academic scholars programs.

This year, students again are able to submit unofficial or official high school transcripts at the time of application.

APPLICATION REVIEWUW Oshkosh reviews each application using a comprehensive review process. In addition to academic criteria, we consider leadership, community involvement, and meaningful participation in extracurricular activities such as clubs, organizations or employment.

First-Year Student Academic Factors

• Rigor of college preparatory high school curriculum

• Cumulative unweighted grade point average (GPA)

• High School class rank (when available)

• ACT or SAT test scores (optional)

Key Nonacademic Factors

• Leadership experience, volunteerismand community service

• Diversity of personal background, workexperience and life circumstances

• Student’s personal statement

• Letters of recommendation (optional)

DISCOVER ACADEMIC PROGRAMS COME FOR A CAMPUS VISITWe offer several opportunities throughout the year to help students see how well they fit at any of the three campuses of UWO. Students can view options, register for an event or schedule your visit at uwo.sh/visit.

TITAN PREVIEW – EVENTS We’d love to connect with you virtually to give you an in-depth Titan Preview experience. Our virtual Titan Preview events give you a taste of everything UW Oshkosh has to offer.

TITAN PREVIEW – ONLINE RESOURCES Students are also free to explore on their own before connecting with us. The online Titan Preview resources include videos with our staff and modules that will help you get to know UW Oshkosh.

CAMPUS VISIT We offer daily visits and group presentations that talk through the admissions process and give you an idea of all the things we have to offer. Daily tours are offered Monday through Friday, both morning and afternoon, as well as select Saturdays.

All in-person campus visit opportunities for 2020-2021 school year apply caution to ensure the safety and health of our visitors and staff. Guests are asked to follow our safety guidelines when visiting campus. All events and dates are subject to change.

Titans choose from more than 250 majors, minors, emphases and certificates to build a degree that speaks to their goals and prepares them to achieve.

In every program, students find ways to put new knowledge into action and make the connection between classes and careers. In fact, the opportunity to “do” is part of every major—student-centered research, internships, practicums and volunteer opportunities give Titans real work experience and a resume that sets them up for career success.
