ST. JOSEPH MEN’S GROUP

The St. Joseph Men's Prayer Group will be gathering this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. for a Holy League Holy Hour. Fraternal time will follow. All men of the Parish are invited to join the men before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament each

month. The group is open to all men of the Parish ages 18 and older.

The prayer intention for August is for an increase in charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism among the people of this country.

ROSARY PROCESSION

Join us this Saturday, August 15th at 9:00 AM for a Rosary Procession around the Village of Volo to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, Assumed into Heaven, and in honor of the August 19th Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima.

Meet in the front at 9:00 AM where we will begin the procession. Please remember to bring a

mask to wear and to practice social distancing.

NEW DEACONS, BROTHERS,

SEMINARIANS!

On August 12, Cardinal Cupich ordained Brother Nathan Ford, SJC a transitional Deacon along with 11 other men at St. Mary of the Lake Seminary.

August 14, Three Postulants for the Canons Regular of Saint John Cantius received their habit and entered the novitiate. Paul Bogan, from Battle Creek Michigan, David Monahan, of Clinton Illinois, Ethan Wersland is from Cle Elum in central Washington state.

On August 15, Br. Andrew Panzer, SJC will profess final vows in the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius and Br. Quinn Huston, SJC and Br. Kevin Menard, SJC will renew their temporary vows.

Also this month, three parishioners of St. Peter in Volo will begin studies for the priesthood. John Lesniewski will be studying for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Darren Stass will begin studies for the Diocese of Rockford, and Matthew Szymanski will study for the Diocese of La Crosse

Let us pray for these men and for many more priestly and religious vocations!
