THE CHALLENGE
During the preliminary rounds at the partner
universities (conducted by lecturers of
Stuttgart Media University) the students
worked in teams developing business ideas
based on design thinking methods solving
problems related to demographic, cultural,
social and environmental issues.
In the finals, the participants are working in
international teams that were determined in
a team drawing. They are tackling new chal-
lenges based on observations at different
points of interest in Stuttgart. Their mission:
Develop futuristic business ideas for the year
2029.

10 YEARS OF ENTREPRENEURIAL BRAINS MADE ON CAMPUS
EBMC is an international business idea competition in which students learn to think and act as entre-preneurs. The competition was started in 2009 by Stuttgart Media University (HdM).
This year, the competition is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The 2019 finals are featuring 50 parti-cipants from 11 European and Chinese universities.
