is the money I have given to the Lord.” (James L. Kraft, Kraft-Phoenix Cheese Corp Chairman)

“To give without any reward, or any notice, has a special quality of its own.” (

Practical Tips for Godly Lifestyle Adjustments . . .

Give away anything that owns you. (Matthew 19:21) Do not fll for commercial advertising-shop wisely based on good coun-

sel. (Proverbs 11:14) Avoid fads; stick with the classics that are always in style. (Colossians

2:8, Romans 12:1-2) Analyze the cost of seemingly small expenditures, such as eating out,

buying brand name clothing, etc. These purchases can add up to sub-stantial sums of money. (Proverbs 27:23-24)

For the safe-

ty and security of eve-ryone, your backpack or bag may be inspected.

Thanks for your cooper-ation!

Help FBC Meet Its Budget

We appreciate your faithful giving to FBC and its ministries.

God is doing many good things at our church. Pray for the economy in America.

We need $24,340.00 each week to meet our budget.

Faith Promise Update

Since January 1, the total giving to Faith Promise has been $10,325.00. Our need since January 1 is $9,198.00.

Our weekly need is $1,022.00.

We are currently $1,127.00 OVER our year-to-date need! Thank you for being faithful to God’s Word through Faith Promise Giving!

Faith Promise is money you give to help our missionaries.

cancer, consider joining us from 12:15 to 1:15 pm to pray for God’s wisdom, healing, strength and power. Grab a “to go” meal in the MAC and come pray with us. Our next prayer gathering is Sunday, March 10, in Room 104 here at FBC. Questions? Call or text Joy Morse at 480-838-6973 or email her at [email protected].

Faith . . .

Faith is the belief that God is real and that God is good … It is a choice to believe that the one who made it all hasn’t left it all and that He still sends light into the shadows and responds to gestures of faith …

Faith is the belief that God will do what is right.

God says that the more hopeless your circumstances, the more likely your salvation. The greater your cares, the more genuine your prayers. The darker the room, the greater the need for light.

God’s help is near and always available, but it is only given to those who seek it.

Last night after youth service, I had a student ask me this question:

“Why is it easier for people to spread hate than love?”

It’s a great question.

Bullying and cyber bullying seems more present than ever.

How are YOU discipling your kids through the topic of bullying?

I want to invite you to join the conversation about bullying, learn how to use bullying as a discipleship tool and how we can be a light in the

darkness, shining the light and hope of Christ to a broken and lost world.

Sunday, March 10 | 6:00 – 7:00 pm | FBC Youth Room Please RSVP @ FBCstudents.org

I encourage you to attend this with your student(s) and family. Parents with kids of all ages are welcome.

Patience . . .

God is often more patient with us than we are with ourselves. We assume that if we fall, we are not born again. If we stumble, then we are not truly converted. If we have the old desires, then we must not be a new creation.

If you are anxious about this, please remember, “God began a doing a good work in you, and I am sure he will continue it until it is finished when Jesus Christ comes again.” (Philippians 1:6)

New Singles Home Group – I Need YOU!

We are almost ready for a weekly singles home group but we are looking for a host!

You do not have to be single, you can offer your home or meeting place even if you are not a part of the group!

We have many singles at FBC who are looking for a place to be valued and looking to grow spiritually for the work God has for them. The Apostle Paul says, “To the unmarried and the widows I say it is good for them to remain single, as I am” (I Corinthians 7:8). We must learn to value the single people at FBC! YES, I am able to host a Singles Home Group Bible Study one time per week! Name _____________________________________________________ Contact me at ______________________________________________

God’s Love . . .

God’s love does not hinge on yours. The abundance of your love does not increase his. The lack of your love does not diminish his. Your goodness does not enhance his love, nor does your weakness dilute it.

God loves you simply because he has chosen to do so. He loves you when you do not feel lovely. He loves you when no one else loves you.

Others may abandon you, divorce you and ignore you, but God will love you. Always. No matter what.

“Visions Boasting-Weakness”

March 10, 2019 Al Fadi

Our conversion story and our boasting concerning our ministry calling to serve the Lord can include, in humility, our supernatural experience with our Great God and Savior. Such right is made possible for us since it is the work of God in us that will enable those around us to recognize such transformational power.

The Supernatural Evidence of Servanthood 1. Supernatural experiences are ______ __________ ______

______ __________

II Corinthians 12:1 - “I must go on boasting. Though there is nothing to be gained by it, I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord…”

a. When boasting, one MUST emphasize the power of God to

transform his/her life

b. Boasting MIGHT be necessary to bring GLORY to God

c. Boasting of our spiritual experiences SHOULD be done in

humility

2. Supernatural experiences are ______ __________ _____ ____

II Corinthians 12:2 - “I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. II Corinthians 12:3 - And I know that this man was caught up into paradise—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows—

II Corinthians 12:4 - and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter.”

a. There is a time and place to share such occurrences – Paul

waited fourteen years to share such experience

b. When sharing about the supernatural experience, it is normal

that one cannot explain nor comprehend such occurrence

I Corinthians 2:9 - “But, as it is written, “What no eye has

seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God

has prepared for those who love him”—

I Corinthians 2:10 - these things God has revealed to us

through the Spirit”

c. The indescribable Glory that awaits us worth the suffering we WILL endure.

3. Supernatural experiences __________ ______ ______

__________ II Corinthians 12:5 - “On behalf of this man I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses…”

a. Our spiritual experiences reveal the power of God to us

b. Our brokenness becomes obvious to us through these

supernatural experiences

Isaiah 6:1 - “In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord

sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his

robe filled the temple.

Isaiah 6:2 - Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six

wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered

his feet, and with two he flew.

Isaiah 6:3 - And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy,

holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!”

Isaiah 6:4 - And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. Isaiah 6:5 - And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”

c. Our supernatural experiences should not be ______

__________ ______ ______ __________

a. This can cause people to boast about us rather than our

work for God
