Introduction This bibliography updates the 1987 publication (McKee and others 1987) listing research publications of the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest. Additional supplements may be published intermittently.

Included here are more recent publications, abstracts, theses, and unpublished reports, as well as items that were inadvertently omitted from the earlier publication. Because we expect this document to be used in a variety of ways, we have included citations that are "in press" at the time of compilation and that are derived from work at nearby research sites. The publications are arranged alphabetically by author, by date, and by title. Authors' names are given exactly as they appear on the publica-tion. Thus, a publication with initials for the primary author's first name will be listed before one with the first name spelled out, even if the paper was published at a later date. For example, Hawkins, C.P. (1983) occurs before Hawkins, Charles (1981).

An index of keywords follows the bibliography. Publications are listed alphabetically by author after appropriate keywords. All citations are listed at least once in the index. Several keywords that were not listed in McKee and others (1987) have been added because of new subject matter covered in the more recent publications.

We regret that reprints of listed items cannot be obtained from a central location. Many papers are available from libraries. Others may be obtained from the authors or from the Pacific Northwest Research Station. If copies are not available from any of those sources, single requests can be addressed to the H.J. Andrews Experimen-tal Forest, Forest Science Department, Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR 97331. Because we make photocopies from our files, we ask that this service be used as a last resort.
