Art and Mathematics Create your own drawing with at least four circles or semicircles. Feel free to put other objects in your picture. Based on your drawing, compute the area of each of the circles drawn. Organize a way that you will present your drawing and computations to the class. You will have seven minutes to present this lesson.

  Reading and Mathematics

Read a book from the Sir Cumference Series by Cindy Newuschwander. You have your choice of reading Sir Cumference and the First Round Table, Sir Cumference and the Dragon of Pi, and Sir Cumference and the Isle of Immeter. Present one of the books to the class, reading a few samples of the pages. Explain how this book might be beneficial when reinforcing a concept to your middle school students. You will have seven minutes to present this lesson.
