Key Issues:- What’s Working

Locally a more mature joined up approach

Greater understanding and awareness – strategically

and operationally at a local level

Building strengthened partnerships through:

Transparency and trust

Clear lines of communication and dissemination

A ‘Marriage’ of local actors

One voice will be heard many different voices will not

Understanding self interest to reach the consensus

If there wasn’t an LSP would we want one?

Outcomes not process

Shared ownership – shared reward

Central Government:-

A renewed relationship

Local problems need local solutions

More support less direction

Mutual trust based on actions

Keep your eye on the ball
