Scholars in Grades 3 & 4 will be administered state assessments on Mon., May 14 & Tues., May 15. 5th Grade scholars take their Science test on May 16. Please keep in mind that NO VISITORS are allowed on campus on these dates. Lunches may be dropped off at the front office. They will be deliv- ered to scholars. Watch for an updated lunch schedule to be sent home soon as the lunch schedule is adjusted on testing days to accommo- date a much needed break for scholars who are testing. We appreciate your sup- port and understanding as our goal is to create a peaceful and supportive testing environment. End of Year Wrap Up—Important Reminders There has been report of concern- ing behaviors regarding parking lot safety as well as pick up and drop off safety. Keep in mind that NO scholars may be picked up from the curb on Smithfield Road. All lanes are moving lanes of traffic. Please use the pick up and drop off lanes at Smithfield Road (front driveway) and/or the Green Valley Drive parking lot. Concerns have also been shared regarding cars parked along Green Valley Drive at dismissal. While this is not illegal, we would ask that extreme caution be used as scholars are often difficult to see and some have had near misses with cars that are pulling away. Concerns of road ragetypes of behavior have been reported from the parking lot. Please know that the NRH Police Dept. has been notified of such behavior and this will not be tolerated. Modeling appropriate respectful behavior in front of children is of the utmost importance. Re: Medication Safety

Keep in mind that partially full bottles of prescription and non-prescription medi-cations, EPI pens, insulin, liquid preparations including albuterol solution and all other medications will NOT be sent home with scholars.

Please either pick up your child’s medication by Thurs., May 31st at 1pm or notify the nurse and she will dis-pose of the left over meds.

If your scholar has an inhal-er, it will be sent home with them at dismissal on the last day of school.
