Why we chose these appsQuizlet: This app provides an excellent way for students to make flashcards and study for their quizes and tests. In our opinion, it is the best flashcard app currently available.

Randomly: As a teacher, this is an app we agreed we could use in the classroom. When students do not volunteer to answer a question this app can randomly select a student. It can also recall who has been picked before and ensures that questions are answered by different people.

Today in History: Our group was made up of two history teacher so we thought this was a useful app. It is perfect for bell ringers and quick facts or quotes to reflect on at the beginning of class.

EasyBib: In history classes it is important that students are required to write papers. For historical writing the system used is Chicago; EasyBib helps students cite their sources.

Cam Scanner: Research is an important part of studying history and this app allows students to take high quality photos of books and other documents. This is especially useful for sources you cannot check out.

YouTube: It is difficult to imagine a modern classroom without YouTube, there are millions of educationally relevant videos. For history specifically - Crash Course History.

Evernote: One app that we found extremely valuable was Evernote. It is a standard note taking app, but it syncs notes across multiple devices and is perfect for taking notes on in the classroom.
