“There Are Works to Be
Done”
1. Teaching and nurturing the youth so that they can be agent for the ministry.
Being young is an advantage.
a. There are lots of temptations that attract them.
Our society nowadays, have lots to offer to our youth
making them much attached with their peers,
vices and many others. Many of the youth prefer to stay in the society because they thought and believe that it is much cool to be
with their barkadas compared to the church.
As a church what can we do about this? What can we
offer to the youth?
If we consider the youth as part of the sheepfold of
God, then let us look and win them back.
b. Lack of support and encouragement from the parents.
2. To speak and act the truth to make a change amidst this corrupted world.
BUT HOW CAN WE DO THIS!
3. To stand firm in confronting and destroying the evil.
One of the main roles of the church is to prepare and nurture the youth in facing the realities of life. Whether we like it or not, the youth will be confronted with these realities. The youth will be challenged to face this reality.
THE EFFORT WE EXERT TO NURTURE AND PREPARE THE YOUTH SO THAT THEY CAN STAND FIRM IN DOING WHAT IS RIGHT AND IN FACING THE REALITIES OF LIFE…AND OF THIS WORLD…
