A naming ceremony is a very special way to welcome anew arrival to your family. This could be the celebration ofa new baby or welcoming an adoptive child or stepchildinto a new family.

It is a wonderful opportunity to make a promise to be agood parent and say what your aims and ideals for raisinga child are. It is a chance to announce the names you havechosen and perhaps explain the meaning behind the names.All in all it’s a perfect way to create a unique family bond.

The service will be conducted by Registration Servicepersonnel known as celebrants. The Register Office willprovide you with a pack to explain the day and how to goabout booking it.

The Trent Restaurant and Merlin Suite at Rolls-RoyceLeisure are both approved and licenced premises forNaming Ceremonies to be held. If you are looking for amore intimate celebration the Trent Restaurant holds up to40 people or if you have more guests the Merlin Suite willaccommodate up to 180. The Merlin Suite has its ownprivate entrance and bar. Please note there is a small chargefor the use of rooms for a naming ceremony.

Following the ceremony you can then choose from aselection of Menus to offer refreshments to your guests.With ample parking and plenty of space for children toentertain themselves including an outdoor children’s playarea, Rolls-Royce Leisure is the ideal venue for your NamingCeremony.

If you are having your baby/child christening or baptized itis traditional to host a party/reception for your guests afterthe church service. Rolls-Royce Leisure has a selection ofrooms and a wide range of catering options for you tochoose from for your party.

The Trent Lounge is suitable for up to 50 guests. If youwould like to use the Trent Restaurant on a Sunday, this isonly available after 3pm.

If there are more than 50 people or if you would prefer tohave a private room with private bar, then why not considerthe Merlin Suite? Although there is small charge, it is totallyself-contained and there is lots of space, especially if youhave lots of children attending.

If you are looking for somewhere to have a get togetherwith family and friends to celebrate a bir thday, Rolls-RoyceLeisure is the perfect venue.

For smaller gatherings of 12 to 45 people the TrentRestaurant is the perfect place if you want to treat yourguests to a private sit down meal. Our chef Jeff will tailora seasonal menu to your specifications. Three course sitdown meals start at £24 per person.

If you choose to have your celebration on a Saturday nightyou and your guests can move into the Trent Lounge andenjoy live entertainment from 9.30pm.

For larger par ties the Merlin Suite is great and canaccommodate up to 220 people. The dance floor can bemade as small or as large as you like. The round tablescomfortably seat 8 guests. Tablecloths are complimentaryfor sit down meals or £3.50 each should you require themfor other occasions.

If you are thinking of bringing family and friends togetherto help you celebrate an anniversary Rolls-Royce Leisure isthe perfect venue.

If you want a smaller more intimate gathering for up to 50people the Trent Restaurant is ideal. You and your guestscan enjoy a variety of food options. If you want the occasionto be slightly more formal you could have a sit down meal.Alternatively if you want to mingle and chat with yourguests why not choose a buffet. Afternoon tea has alsoproved particularly popular for couples celebrating goldenand diamond wedding anniversaries.

If you want to serve food to your guests you will see fromthe menus that there is a variety of choice varying fromtraditional buffets to hot dishes such as Pie and Peas orLasagne or other lighter options such as Hot Bacon Rolls.

Decorations and ExtrasWanting to add some finishing touches or extras to yourevent? We are happy to advise you with this.

Balloons make a nice addition to the tables, or why notconsider having a photo booth allowing you and your gueststo get special fun photos as a memento of the occasion?

CakeIf you are having a celebration cake let us know and we willprovide a clothed table to display it on and happily cut itup for you to distribute to your guests.

EntertainmentIf you want to create more of a party feel and want to giveyour guests the option to dance the night away then theMerlin Suite can hold from 50 to 220 people.

You can use our in-house DJ if you want a disco, we canalso arrange live entertainment if you prefer.

If you want to bring your own entertainment, all we ask isthat it must be self-contained with regards to sound andlighting.
