The pool is scheduled to be open on Sat., May 28th, for the 2016 season!

CCR/ARC Violation Letters The Board has heard your concern and has revised our violation letter. The letters should now be easy to understand and reference the exact violation.

The Board will also be more aware of what the violation is and give an appropriate timeframe to comply. (i.e. If you need to paint your house, you will be given until the temps are warm enough to do so.) You may request additional time to comply for special circumstances. Those requests will be reviewed by the Board and be either approved or denied.

Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions or need additional information.

All details will be posted on our website shortly. Once the information is available, it will be posted on our social media sites. Once the Board collects the feedback, they will make their final decision on how to proceed. Please direct all questions related to street lights to [email protected]

Bunco Bunco is a fast-moving dice game ladies have played since the 1800’s. It is played in 2-person teams with 2 teams per table and is a great way to relax, have fun, and be social. We have the perfect location at our clubhouse: it’s free for community events, close to home and gives us a chance to meet other women of all ages living in Cambridge.

If you’re interested in playing Bunco, please contact Sharon at [email protected] or at 704-607-3849.

Sprucing up Yards & Homes Now that springtime is here, it’s a good time to get outdoors and spruce up your yards and homes. Here are just a few things to check:

The condition of exterior paint. Remember to check with the HOA (file an ARC application) if you want to change the color of your house.

All exterior wood on our homes including the conditions of window frames, garage doors, fascia boards, etc.

Sagging or damaged gutters and downspouts.

Mold and stains on sidewalks/driveways and siding on our houses.

The appearance of trees, shrubs, flower beds for weeding and re-mulching.

Cambridge Book Club The book club for women living in Cambridge is held the 4th Tues. of every month at 7:00pm at the Clubhouse.

Club members agreed to modify our schedule to include a July meeting with a picnic supper to share (3rd Tues., July 19th) and a December (1st Tues., Dec. 6th) meeting with a pot luck supper. We will figure out what to read for the two added meetings at the April 26th meeting.

We are reading All Fall Down by Jennifer Weiner for April. A list of 2016 book selections is provided on our website under the Events & Meeting tab.

The three new Board members elected were: Sharon Montgomery, Lisa Forrest and Ken Bauer.

We would like to thank Charlie Foster and Bob Isaacs for their service as Board members.

The 2017 budget was ratified during the meeting. It was noted that there would be no increase in the dues for 2017.

Christmas Party for Adults We are planning a Christmas Party for adults living in Cambridge. It will be on Saturday, Dec. 17th, at 7:00pm at the Clubhouse. The HOA will provide meats/bread, attendees are asked to bring a side dish to share and their own beverage.

The deadline to RSVP is Wednesday, Dec. 14th, to [email protected]

If you would like to participate in a white elephant gift exchange, please bring a wrapped $10 gift. Hope to see you there!

‘Tis the Season There’s no place like home for the holidays. That is, unless the holidays find you home alone.

Every year more and more seniors and young adults find themselves spending the holidays alone. At a time when families come together to catch up on the latest news, create lasting memories, and just enjoy each other’s company, untold numbers of singles (whether by divorce, death of a loved one or unmarried) will spend the holidays alone.

Any gesture, even small, to support or include someone you know who may need it is a wonderful thing to do, especially over the holidays.
