Cast Biographies
Madeleine Makay (Laura Wingfield)—Madeleine
returns to the Theatre Rocks! stage with this, her
fifth production. She has worked with director
Rebecca Perry on three productions: Sleeping
Beauty, A Little Princess, and backstage on An
Orphan's Adventure. She played the "Ghost of
Christmas Past" in director Lisa Rosewell and Kate
Vega's adaptation of A Christmas Carol directed by
Lisa Rosewell. She recently played “Lilly” in Bill
Rhoten’s Mojave at The Core Theatre. This season
at Theatre Rocks!, she also was honored to work as
the assistant director and play a traveler in The
Trip to Bountiful. Bill and Suzanne have opened
many opportunities for her and she hopes to work
with them many more times in the future.
Ben Rosewell (Tom Wingfield)—Ben’s first
theatrical experience was in his church’s
children’s Christmas musical. Ben fell off the riser.
Years later, having recovered from that experience,
he worked as a stagehand for a Bill Rhoten
production. His first role under Rhoten’s direction
was “Bo,” the eager young lover in Bus Stop. Ben
has appeared as “Richard the Lionheart” in The
Lion in Winter and the “Foreman” in Twelve
Angry Men. He holds the distinction of having
originated roles in five Theatre Rocks! world
premieres: Mojave (and its recent reprisal at The
Core Theatre), Hyer House, My First Date, an
original adaptation of A Christmas Carol, and,
most recently, Forever.
