Dr. Je Carter and members of the international Horizons team, who will be joining us in worship to share an update. Many in our congregation will know that we have supported Jeand Deann Carter who had served with CBM since 2002, in the area of ministry training with the European Baptist Federation. In 2005, Jelaunched the Horizons program training youth and children’s ministry leaders in Europe and the Middle East. In transitioning to the Baptist World Alliance (BWA), the Horizons global training program expanded beyond 50 dierent countries and into 14 dierent languages. This ministry continues to grow providing free training and support to the global church in reaching young people for Christ. Currently, our congregation supports Je’s ministry with the BWA Horizons program through Crandall University, where he also serves as the director of the William Carey Initiative - another important ministry of our Canadian Baptist network. Jeis a graduate of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, Acadia Divinity College (Masters of Divinity), McMaster Divinity College (Doctor of Ministry), and the University of Wales where he completed his Phd examining the Internet and its eect on the spiritual health of young people. In 1992, Jeff was ordained as a Canadian Baptist minister by First Moncton Baptist Church. He has served both locally and globally equipping the church for God’s mission in the world.

All are welcome to this fun ministry of crochet, knitting, and prayer.Hillside Pines Nursing Home Ministry Our nursing home ministry at Hillside Pines resumes on Tuesday, May 17 at 6:30 pm. All volunteers are required to provide proof of full vaccination and must wear a face mask. BBC Church Choir Our church choir practices on Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. All are welcome! Little Juniors (PK to Grade Six)Meets Wednesday from 6:00-7:15 pm.Food Bank Donations The Bridgewater and Area Inter Church Food Bank is asking for contributions of canned vegetables for May and June .Questions about the Bible, Life, and Faith? Pastor Aaron is interested in receiving questions for an upcoming teaching series at [email protected] Your Stamps! Atlantic Baptist Women encourage you to save used postage stamps that help them raise funds for the French Baptist Union of Canada. Trim stamps to leave a 1/4 inch paper border. Nilda Chute will be receiving stamps and bringing them to interMission 2022. Volunteers Needed The kitchen committee is updating our current information for folks willing to assist with providing food or manpower for funeral receptions and events.
