Announcements
The Church Post Office is ready for you to send Christmas cards to church members. Please put your postage money in your offering envelope and mark it postage for the mission of your choice - Lottie Moon or Global Missions. In addition to postage money for Missions, envelopes are available for your regular offering to Lottie Moon and CBF Global Missions. These offerings can be made through the month of December. Angelic Minister’s Meeting - Tuesday, December 14th at 7:00 pm at Brenda Hailey’s home. Weathers/Knight Circle - Thursday, December 16th at 10:00 am in the Conference Room. Keep Them Warm this Winter - The Mission Team needs you to take a look in your closets for those winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, snow pants, ear muffs, etc... You know the ones you either no longer use or your children have outgrown. We need all sizes... from adult to kids, large or small we will take them all. We will collect these items from now until Wednesday, December 15th - please place in the boxes at the bottom of the steps in the Education Building. These items will go with the “Adopt-a-Child” Christmas project for the CAC for families and children to help keep them warm and dry this winter. Dear KBC Family, The Mission / Outreach Team is reaching out to our KBC Family for a very important need. KBC has been contacted by the CAC on behalf of the Children and Christmas. We have been given a list of 13 kids (some were here this summer for VBS and their siblings). The parents of these children cannot provide Christmas, so the CAC has reached out to KBC for help in making a child’s Christmas special, warm and loving. We had contacted the host families from the last several years and all but 5 of the kids have been adopted. These 5 children are from two families. Be on the lookout for the “Adopt-a-Child” Christmas Tree to be placed in the back of the sanctuary. Pick an ornament; it will have the child’s name, age, size and an item on their wish list. If you are helping a CAC child this Christmas, please have all items (wrapped with name tag) delivered to the Conference Room no later than Wednesday, December 15th by 7:00 pm. Deacon’s Meeting - Sunday, December 19th at 6:00 pm in the Conference Room. Cemetery Committee Meeting - Monday, December 20th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room.
