Scouts Victoria, on behalf of Scouts Australia, will host the World Scout Foundation Board Meeting and 69th Baden-Powell Fellowship Event in Melbourne, March 17 -21. His Majesty, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, Honorary Chairman of the World Scout Foundation, will attend with many other Baden-Powell fellows from around the world. The World Scout Foundation event will provide Scouts Victoria with an opportunity to showcase Australian Scouting. And there are many ways Victorian Scouting families can be involved. Become a Member of the World Scout Foundation The World Scout Foundation helps the growth and development of Scouting Worldwide. It does this by investing capital donations from individuals, foundations, corporates and governments. To become a member a donation pledge of $US10,000 is made as a single sum, or in installments over a three- to five-year period. If you’re under 30 it’s $US1000, and the balance by your 30th birthday, New members will receive recognition from His Majesty at the Baden-Powell Fellowship gala dinner; the highlight of the event program.
