From the Producer Thank you all for coming to the second show in the Village Playhouse's 37th season. When I signed on to produce this show last spring I had no idea what I was getting myself into, and I am eternally grateful to everyone who has supported me through the process of building a complete evening of nostalgic, family friendly entertain-ment around the Wisconsin Premiere of A Char-lie Brown Christmas. Though each story performed tonight is different in tone and presentation, I think they all have the same core message: “Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.” This evening is designed to help get you into the holiday spirit. I hope that you take the messages of these shows to heart and go out into the world to spread generosity, peace and thanksgiving.

Jes Schwartz (Patty – A Charlie Brown Christmas) Jes is very excited to be in A Charlie Brown Christmas. She has worked on several other productions such as Jesus Christ, Superstar, Char-lie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Music Man. Jes would like to thank her family and friends for their support. Judy Lee Tarbox (Caroler, Caroler/Mrs. Cratchit – A Christmas Carol) Judy Lee is thrilled to be part of this holiday production because Christmas is her favorite time of year. She has enjoyed VPW membership since 1985. Favorite roles include Mama in I Remember Mama and Glinda in The Wizard of Oz. She thanks everyone for their hard work on this production and thanks you, the audience, for being here. Harrison Tiggard (Linus – A Charlie Brown Christmas) Har-rison is excited to be back on stage and to work with the Village Playhouse. He recently portrayed Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls Jr at Sunset Playhouse. Harrison is a 4th grader at Washing-ton Elementary in Wauwatosa. When not performing he loves to play video games and baseball.

For over 30 years, the Village Playhouse has provided numerous opportunities and benefits to the community. We

make high quality theatre avail-able without a trip downtown

and without the associated down-town prices. Additionally, the VPW

provides opportunities for people of all experience levels to develop skills in various

theatre crafts. We also provide an outlet for artists of all disciplines to practice, display, and perfect their craft. However, over the years, the costs of productions and the venues in which they are performed have increased substantially. That is why we need to ask for your help. Your contribution will allow us to continue to provide the high-quality productions you have come to enjoy. As an IRS 501 (c) (3) organization, all donations to the Village Playhouse are tax deductible. Donations can be made at the box office, by mail, or online at our website, www.VillagePlayhouse.org

Casey Paszkiewicz (Cratchit Child/Second Man – A Christ-mas Carol) Casey is usually found working the technical aspects of VPW productions, but surprisingly, has enjoyed making on-stage appearances in the recent one act festivals and is happy to be in this production as well. As Studio Assistant, Casey is an inte-gral part of Inspiration Studios and helps keep it running smoothly. Casey will have her first paintings in the VPW Holiday Art Show and thanks Erico Ortiz for inspiring her to paint. Madalyn Rapp (Lucy – A Charlie Brown Christmas) Madalyn is happy to be back on stage. Her previous performances were with Frank Lloyd Wright and The West Allis Players. Madalyn’s latest show was The Wedding Singer. She was also in The King and I as Princess Ting Yowahk. Madalyn has also been in the Next Gen Phone 2.0 and a yearbook production.

Zac Millmann (Shermy – A Charlie Brown Christmas, Tiny Tim – A Christmas Carol) Zac is excited to work with the VPW for his first time performing onstage. He is really enjoying his first experience acting. When he isn’t acting, he likes to play baseball and video games. He also loves school, especially math. Erico Ortiz (Caroler, King Wenceslas – Good King Wenceslas) Erico enjoys all aspects of the arts. As owner/manager of Inspiration Studios, he encourages audiences to view and enjoy the current VPW Holiday Art Show on the walls of the gallery. Norma Ortiz (Caroler) Norma was the task manager who helped to mold an old funeral home into Inspiration Studios and is so happy to see how popular it has become as an art gallery and per-formance space. She joined the VPW this year and always enjoys helping out behind the scenes. Norma loves to sing and is very happy to be singing in her first official VPW performance.

We wish you a Merry Christmas; We wish you a Merry Christmas; We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Good tidings we bring to you and your kin; Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year. Oh, bring us a figgy pudding; Oh, bring us a figgy pudding; Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer. Good tidings we bring to you and your kin; Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year. We won't go until we get some; We won't go until we get some; We won't go until we get some, so bring some out here. Good tidings we bring to you and your kin; Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year.
