Thank you to Tom Wiele- ba, Caroline Connors, Carol Surprenant, Jason Matthews and Mark Curtain. Although November was rela- tively quiet, December will be filled with many events, begin- ning with a ham dinner on the 4th. The Annual Memorial Service for our deceased mem- bers. This year we will be eulo- gizing our past Life Member, Clarence A. Drumm on De- cember 6th at 1:00PM. You are invited to join me and the Of- ficers at this service, followed by decoration of the hall for the holidays. The Veteran’s dinner will be held on December 7th, the Camp Sunrise Children’s holiday party on December 13th, and the member’s holiday party on December 19th, finally we have the Annual Hoop Shoot competition being held at Smith Middle School on De- cember 26th. W e had two dinners

in November:

Polish night and a

steak dinner. Thank you to all

the volunteers who made these

dinners a success. Our fall

I would like to point out we will be “skipping” the break-fast on December 13th to provide ample kitchen space for the Children’s Christmas party, but will resume again on the 20th! On Monday December 7th

we will host a dinner for 60

Veterans from the Rocky

Hill Vets Home 5-9pm. Vol-

unteers are needed to help

with food preparation, clean-

up, etc.

Additionally, we are seeking donations of winter hats, base-

ball caps (they love UCONN), gloves (Lg. & XL) and $10

Walmart gift cards. If you would like to donate, please

leave your donation with the bartender no later than De-

cember 3rd. If you want to help with the event please con-

The Annual Camp Sunrise Children’s

Christmas Party will be on December

13th from 4PM-6PM. Many volunteers

are needed for this event. There is a vol-

unteer sign-up at the bar, specific time

frames are available to spread out the

help! Over 100 expected! Volunteers are

needed for decorations, set up, cooking,
