Message from The Deputy Rector I join the Rector to personally welcome you to our world class prestigious institution of learning where all
your dreams of success and greatness are sure to come true .Beware of unaccredited and unapproved drive-
by schools claiming unsubstantiated affiliation with a Nigerian university or polytechnic. Do not waste
your hard –earned money studying at illegal satellite campuses of any named university or polytechnic.
The federal government has warned Nigerian universities to stop offering illegal diplomas, Advanced
Diplomas and Higher Diplomas which are legally approved to only be offered by polytechnics. Stay
focused, do not be distracted or be side-tracked, make the most of your times at UA. Demand excellence
from yourself and strive for it. Remember book before boys, good grades before girls.
