YOLO LODGE #195FROM THE WEST- THE PILLAR OF STRENGTH

Brethren:Greetings from the West! This year has just flown by! Here we are starting May already. Asyou are aware, Yolo Lodge has been very busy with a lot of things going on around here.Worshipful Walker and Woo have been hard at work as Inspectors working with theirrespective lodges. As a result of Mike Woo moving up to Inspector, Worshipful Jacob Brownhas graciously accepted the role of officers coach that Mike vacated. When you see Jacobplease congratulate him on his new role. We look forward to many years of working with him.

Each year we hand out scholarships to four local schools. This year those scholarships will behanded out during awards nights at each of the schools in May. If you are interested inattending one or more of the awards nights for Winters, Dixon, Esparto, or Davis High School, please contact one of your officers who will let you know the dates and times. It would be greatto have a good representation of our Lodge at these programs to show our support for our localhigh schools!

Mother's Day is coming up on May 11th. For those of you brothers and sisters who havemothers still around, don’t forget to spoil them on their day. I wish I had my mother aroundstill to spoil but my kids love to spoil my wife on that day so it is well. I also encourage you tosupport our local community during that week and pay a visit to the Dixon May Fair. It isalways a good time there!

Lastly, have a busy couple of months coming up with several candidates moving through thedegrees. Please continue to check the calendar for upcoming degrees. We really appreciate astrong showing of sideliners for degrees and I know our candidates appreciate it as well.Thank you for all you do for our lodge in particular and for Free Masonry in general!

WOODLAND LODGE #81FROM THE WEST- THE PILLAR OF STRENGTH

May is here, and may we take the time to honor our wonderful women in our lives that havegiven birth to our wonderful children, raised us, and the ones that graced our lives with so muchlove and values. The officers are preparing for an upcoming Second Degree. Please stay tunedfor the date and hope to see some side liners.

WOODLAND LODGE #81FROM THE SOUTH- THE PILLAR OF BEAUTY

Our new 418th Masonic District Inspector the Worshipful Brian Walker has taken his dutiesvery seriously and has begun working with the Lodges with an amazing amount of effort anddedication. There is little doubt that he is a great leader and will help all of us do our best jobsand make him proud. I look forward to working with him for a very long time.

Dale and Ester Stiles prepared an amazing Easter Dinner for us this month. The table serviceby the youth group and the dinner were by far the best effort they could put out. They did theappetizers, dinner, and desserts by themselves which took a lot of time and effort. Worthy of astanding ovation.

We have no degrees scheduled at this time so the Lodge is working on practicing and honingthe floor work to perfection. We do have an affiliation application given out to the WorshipfulRich Whitlock from Reading Lodge in Redding. I’m sure that Worshipful Rich will make avaluable addition to the membership.

The Mother’s Day dinner in May is being prepared by the cooking team of Rick and TammiWitham so we can all rest assured it will be another delicious dinner. I expect the dining roomwill be filled once again as it was this month. We are starting to get more people to come todinner which is always a good thing as we break bread and share fellowship with our friends, neighbors, and families.
