LETTER From The

IT”S TIME TO GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY!

Wedding planning can be very overwhelming and stressful, that’s why you need your girls! I was lucky enough to be able to support one of my best friends as she wed the love of her life this April. I can tell you though, once you’re in there is no turning back. From bridal shower invitations to decorations, flower arrangements, getting coffee, dress decisions, hair decisions, accessory decisions, meltdowns, you have to be there for it all! Being a maid of honor is no joke! However, being there and for your friend while they make one of the most important decisions of their life is a blessing and a privilage. So relax when it starts to get stressful, take a moment to breathe. Instead, enjoy the time you have with them and the time you get to be creative! I hope some of these ideas lighten the load and not your pockets! Get messy and down with the craftiness with your soon to be wed friend and create memories as well as fun momentos.

Hey look! That’s me!

Skinny Tie

1. 2.

3. 4.

1. The first step is to undo the tie that you want to use. Gently cut open the tie and spread it. Place the meaurements you want while following the original measurements of the tie.

2. After you place your measurements to give your tie it’s sinny look, carefully cut along those edges removing the extra material.

3. Use the clip-on hardware from an older tie. While you undo the tie to retrieve the hardware be aware of how it was attached. (You can find clip-on ties at your local Goodwill).

4.Sew the edges of your tie up to match it and place in the clip-on hardware. Continue to sew up the tie until complete.

Bam! Your very own skinny tie!

CLEVER CRAFTSFOUR EASY STEPS TO RECYCLE AN OLD TIESo you found a vintage tie but it’s too big and bulky to use for the look your going for. With a little tweaking we can slim that tie down in no time!

A creative couple set the bar high with a vintage inspired wedding set in the woodys surrounding of Titusville, FL . From pastel bridesmaid dresses to a record player they

prove that crafty can go a long way.

Not that we need any more reasons to fall in love with vintage weddings, but this quaint and calm ceremony reminded us why we cruch so hard on them. The rustic features were the perfect decor for this couple who pride themselves in knowing about all that looks lovely. One of our favorite details were the hand crafted wooden benches made by the groom, John. Each centerpiece was put together by hand and not one was the same. Each contained vintage books hand picked over time. The earthy look even made it onto the cake, which was covered in branches. To top it off the groomsmen wore plaid and the bridesmaids wore a variety of vintage pastel dresses.

Wedding reception boquet made out of pretty pastel wrapping paper. 4. Streams of ribbon and burlap were hung at the alter. 5. Guest signed a wish tree instead of a book.
