NOTE: Use these recommended settings as starting points when calibrating a spreader to achieve the needed application rates. Once equipment is calibrated the technician should make further setting adjustments as necessary, to maintain the proper application rate. Calibrate spreaders regularly to confirm that equipment wear or other factors have not changed the flow rate.
