Fellow CRCC Members, On behalf of the Board of Directors I am very pleased to announce that our new General Manager, Travis Hall, arrived in Cedar Rapids last weekend. Travis literally “dropped his bags” and was at the Club digging in last Friday afternoon. Travis comes to Cedar Rapids CC from Ipswich Country Club in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Travis has been at Ipswich CC since 2011, serving as the General Manager since 2013. Prior to his promotion to the role of General Manager, Travis has had a lengthy career on the Head Golf Professional track. He has also worked as PGA Head Professional with Bayonet at Puppy Creek in Pinehurst, NC as well as First Assistant to the Director of Golf at the Country Club of North Carolina. He held prior positions at Essex County Club, Salem Country Club and Desert Island Country Club amongst others. Travis earned his degree as a communication major from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. Travis' 21 plus years of resort, public and private club history has provided him the breadth and depth of experience we were seeking. His passion for club management extends

from member satisfaction and engagement to strong fiscal oversight. He has been recognized for his talent in managing a careful balance of those critical areas as well as building and leading high performance teams.

As many of you know, Travis is a Cedar Rapids native who grew up at Cedar Rapids CC. There was only one job that could have lured Travis back to Cedar Rapids and he has shared that he is very excited to have landed his “dream job" in the private

club management business. Travis sees so much promise and opportunity ahead for Cedar Rapids CC, and he is ready to tackle the full plate of tasks that await him. We plan to hold a welcoming reception to give members a chance to meet him. Watch for the date to be announced soon. Please join me in welcoming Travis Hall to Cedar Rapids CC . . . this time, in person! Respectfully, Anne

February 2nd we find out whether the infamous Groundhog will bring us an early spring, or find himself booed back underground for another year. Regardless, warmer weather and sunshine will be here soon enough, and with it the excitement of another season for members of Cedar Rapids CC to enjoy the best golf course in Iowa, the best patio dining experience in the Midwest, a relaxing pool-side venue, and excellent tennis on our courts.

Over the past few years, we’ve talked a lot about it being “a great time to be a member of Cedar Rapids CC”, and the importance of our MEMBERS being at the center of everything that the Club’s leadership does day in and day out. Many changes have come to the Club in recent years – from management to facilities to strategic vision. In many cases, long needed changes have been slow in coming, but the Club continues to adapt and evolve to the feedback that your Board and leadership hear from YOU, the members.

It is a great time to be a member at Cedar Rapids CC, because bubbling to the surface are exciting enhancements to the member experience for all of us who are fortunate enough to be members at OUR CLUB. The Board and Management are in lockstep in their strategic vision of returning Cedar Rapids CC to its place as one of the premiere elite private clubs in the Midwest. Your Membership Committee, your Board of Directors, and your staff and management team continue to dedicate countless hours to listening to member feedback, and setting forth visions of ways to evolve the Club in ways that members want, and in ways that make it special to be a member of “The Club”.

In the coming months, you’re going to hear a consistent drumbeat throughout Cedar Rapids CC – members, members, members. MEMBERS are what make a Club unique. MEMBERS are what make a Club an experience. And MEMBERS are what makes the Club successful. Collectively, we all have an interest in making OUR CLUB the best experience in Iowa, and that starts with being an engaged member.

As the weather warms up, and we all emerge from the long winter hibernation, I encourage you to start talking with your friends that you would like to have become part of OUR CLUB. A healthy Club needs a steady inflow of new members, and it is up to each of us to ensure that we invite people in our circles into our larger shared experience of Cedar Rapids CC.

Stay tuned, OUR CLUB is just getting started . . .

Respectfully,

Landis Wiley, Chair Membership Committee

As we begin a new fiscal year at the Club, we thought we would take this opportunity to remind you of the processes we have in place that can help you stay current on your account.

Statements are generally prepared by the 3rd business day of each month. Your statement will be emailed to you, unless otherwise requested. Please make sure we have your most current email address on file at the Club. If you have already requested your statement is to be mailed, you do not need to contact us again.

You can view your statement and current charges by logging on to the Club’s website www.cedarrapidscc.com and clicking on My Account then selecting My Statement.

For your convenience, automatic draft from your bank account or payment by credit card is available. To set up a payment, go to the website and click on My Account, then select Pay My Bill. Follow the prompts to set up a one time or recurring payment. Please note that the use of a credit card requires a 2.5% service charge.
