The Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) in conjunction with the Center for Learning and Student Development Services (aka the Learning Center) has launched a campus food bank in response to the needs of some of the students here at the college.
Students: If you are in need of something to eat without the means to acquire a meal you may come to the Learning Center to select items for yourself free of charge, no questions asked. We will also gladly accept your donations of non-perishable goods. Staff : We need your assistance stocking the food bank should you be able to help. Non-perishable foods will be kept in the Learning Center including paper goods, and beverages. This announcement is bitter sweet… PTK is happy to support their fellow students, but saddened by their cause.
