Wish you had more hours in the day so that you could live your most abundant life?

Do you need a simple solution to taking back control of your life?

Want to know the Secret? DELEGATION!

We are all given the same glorious 24 hours each and every day. But it’s how we define and use that time that will create your life as you experience it.

We are all here for a bigger purpose than we usually see for our-selves, but in order to reveal our true meaning in life, you need to Live More and Do Less.

Through strategic delegation, you’ll open the space and time in your life so that you can truly live, love, and be happy. Those are the three things that are our direct link to success.

This doesn’t mean surrendering control, it just means letting go of those things that someone else can easily do for you so that you can focus on things that really require you.

Whether it’s a personal touch at work or just more time to spend on yourself, delegating duties is how to increase happiness and improve quality of life.

ASSESS. DELEGATE. FOCUS.

Assess your life/work needs.

Delegate duties to others.

Focus on quality of life.

DELEGATION 101As adults, we have an innate sense of duty and responsibility. This is only compounded when we take on the added pressures of house, family, and business. At first, we try to tackle it all on our own - running the household, juggling kid duties, work related tasks, etc. We quickly find that there is too much to do and simply not enough time in the day.

Rather than trying to fight the rise and set of the sun, we can find easier solutions. By assessing our true needs and using the time we have more efficiently, you can literally create new hours in the day! Why spend 4 hours of your day waiting for the repairman when you can delegate that to someone else? Why devote 2 hours to silly errands when it can be done for you?

These are the questions you already know the answer to... But we’re often afraid to accept it.

Let’s break it down and assess where you can delegate in order to focus your talents on what matters most ...

PERSONAL NEEDSAs adults, we often find ourselves torn in a million different directions. Being stretched so thin usually only leads to one thing - BREAKING!!! To help avoid this, look at the things that are priorities in your life and place them in rank order. You’ll find the ones that lead to personal happiness usually fall to the bottom!

Seek outside help to remove that top layer of chores that prevent you from enjoying yourself. Does it really require your time to buy items from a gift wish list for your favorite niece or pick up the dry cleaning yourself? The answer is a resounding - NO! Freeing up your time to enjoy life is the gift that can only be given by outside help. At the end of the day you have to ask yourself - What is your time truly worth to you? You will be surprised by the answer.

THINGS THAT CAN BE DONE FOR YOURSELF:

Miss Judy’s StoryMiss Judy is vibrant young woman in her 80’s whose arthritis has become increasingly more painful. She was having a harder time going up and down stairs. Living independently was very important for Miss Judy but a 3-level home made chores that much more difficult to manage.

She decided to hire Task CompleteSM to assist her in things that she could no longer safely do on her own. Having someone carry things up and down the stairs for her allows Miss Judy to maintain her independence in the home that she has so proudly kept for over 20 years. She loves her appointed “team” and looks forward to their weekly visits, when she can delegate things that she can no longer physically do on her own.

What are the things that need to be done on a weekly basis in your life?

Is there anything during the week that is meant just for YOU? If so, List them below:

FAMILY NEEDSBeyond our personal needs, we have a commitment to our family, including our beloved pets. While it’s fun to play with your children (and the family dog), they certainly have needs / wants that may not necessarily require your personal attention. Make a list of things that simply must get done for your family and make top priority those that you must do yourself.

Now consider delegating out those tasks on the bottom of the list that someone else can do for you but still need to get done. By handing these chores to a professional agency, you can now focus on enjoying one-on-one time with your family. Less time spent stocking pantries or running Fido to the groomer puts more time in your hands to do what you choose to do rather than what you must do.

THINGS THAT CAN BE DONE FOR YOUR FAMILY:

Grocery/Bulk Item Shopping

Library Returns

Snack delivery to school events

Personal Gift Baskets (e.g. Teachers)

Senior Services (e.g. Companion Services)

Daily Errands for Sick/Elderly Relatives

Schedule and Take Pet to Vet/Groomers

Care for Pets When Family is on Vacation

Schedule Appointments (e.g doctor, dentist, etc.)

Stacey’s StoryAs a booming entrepreneur, Stacey wasn’t quite prepared for the hectic demands that running a successful business would create at home. She found splitting her time between her growing client list and her family responsibilities was becoming too hard to manage alone and needed help!

Stacey initially hired Task CompleteSM to handle her holiday shopping list but has slowly given more “home maintenance” chores to our service. Having confidence in our team has allowed her to delegate more easily and using efficient professionals for daily errands has given Stacey back hours of time. She can now focus on her busy practice and has been given more time to enjoy her family.

What are some things that your family needs done on a regular basis?

What are some family things that MUST BE done by yourself?

HOUSEHOLD NEEDSThere are things that need tending to around the home that can often inconvenience your lifestyle. I have yet to meet a person that enjoys waiting between “8am and 2pm” for the plumber or cable guy. Add the fact that most of these services come regularly during the day and may charge an “after hours” price to come later and you can see why this is a task worth delegating.

And it’s more than home maintenance. We enjoy our home’s more when our living space is neat and free of clutter. You can now focus on its unique beauty rather than as a reminder of the mess that needs cleaning. By using a professional organizer, you can once again be proud of your home... And find things again!!!

THINGS NEEDED AROUND THE HOME:

Home Organization Projects

De-cluttering of Home Spaces

Moving Assistance

Garage Clean Out & Organization

Schedule and Arrange Service Calls

Wait for Appliance or Furniture Delivery

Waiting for Contractors: Plumber, Cable, etc.

Liaison with Home Vendors

House Sitting (e.g. collect mail, water plants, etc.)

Nancy and Brian’s StoryNancy and Brian were proud new parents but shortly after having their son, they found they did not have enough space in their

kitchen for all their new baby things. Bottles, sip cups, and other supplies began to fill the countertops because there was not enough room in the cabinets.

They reached out to Task CompleteSM and Kelly was able to organize their entire kitchen by properly storing items or simply eliminating things that they did not use on a regular basis. Now they are able to easily find things when needed and their granite countertops are uncluttered and beautiful once again.

What areas of your home are you currently struggling with? What areas

pull focus from you living happily?

Now that you have assessed your home struggles, who else can you enlist to help

manage these problem areas?

(Examples: constant clutter, appliance repairs, home maintenance, etc.)

(Examples: children, housekeeper, spouse, professional assistant, etc.)

BUSINESS SUPPORTOur work lives are complicated by the pressures of meeting deadlines, being productive, and keeping within budget. In order to get more done in a day, you can look to your local errand service provider as a valuable “temp” agency. Whether it’s simple filing or organizing meetings, you can use these valuable resources as often as you need without having to hire full-time staff.

On a personal note, we often spend so much time with our businesses that we lose a handle of our personal lives. How often have you glanced at the windshield and noticed that your car inspection is 2 months past due! Having someone run the car to the dealer during a busy weekday allows you to focus on work. As a plus, is also frees up your weekends to really enjoy your time off. BONUS!!!

THINGS TO HELP GROW YOUR BUSINESS:

Post Office, UPS, FedEx, etc.

Vehicle Inspection/Maintenance

Organize work space/files

Offering Concierge Services as Incentive

In-Office Lunch/Meal Delivery

Assist with mailings

Online Support for E-mail Campaigns

Assist/Arrange Conferences & Meetings

Attend to Needs of Out-of-Town Guests

Lori’s StoryAs the owner of a Home Staging business, Lori found that she was spending more time maintaining the daily chores of a business rather than on reaching her clients. Lori enjoys the one-on-one aspect of working with people but also understands the importance of having web presence with blogging.

As maintaining her blog was became more time consuming, she hired Task CompleteSM to manage the editorial schedule and share her blog with other article marketing sites. This allows her valuable content to still reach her community on a regular basis but gives Lori several hours a week to devote to her passion and help grow her business. She now refers to us as the “secret” to her success.
