Clinical Director’s Clinical Director’s statement:statement:
A novel and innovative way of integrating information acquisition and dissemination to the clinical team and patients in a busy clinical environment.
We have a shorter feedback time allowing us to make decisions and amendments to the management of clinical conditions.
This is resulting in faster recovery times and minimising the need for unnecessary follow up visits.

Summary A clinical librarian works as an integral part
of a clinical team.
There are various models in practice that facilitate CL service use in meeting specific user needs.
Information skills training is a fundamental part of the process.

How could the CL service be transferred to managers?
Who are the managers? Where do you find champions? What is the evidence base? How would you market your service? What model would you apply to which
manager/s? What resources do you need in place in
order to deliver such a service?
