Master of Science (MSTM)- Total of 10 classes to earn degree- 6 core classes, 3 electives- Culminating capstone course
Graduate Certificate (CTM)- 4 core classes- OR 3 core classes and 1 elective
Transportation Security Certificate (CTS)- 2 security classes, 2 core classes
High-Speed Rail Management Certificate - 2 HSR classes, 2 core classes

Accelerated Format
Earn your Master of Science in Transportation Management in a little over two years, concurrent with full-time employment
Take one course at a time, one night per week for each of 10 class sessions
Classes are offered in four sessions each academic year (two in fall, two in spring)
Master of Science in Transportation Management
Target Requirements- Degree from an accredited college/university- 3.0 GPA- 500 GMAT- TOEFL (if undergraduate degree program
was in a language other than English)
Certificates in Transportation Management & Security
For those not ready to pursue the master’s program, but who wish to advance their transportation careers Target Requirements
- Degree from an accredited college/university- 2.5 GPA- No GMAT
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I really have to take the GMAT? Yes, to be admitted into the MSTM program -
unless you already have a Master’s degree in a related field.
Can a GRE or LSAT substitute for GMAT? No, the GMAT is required.

Can I transfer graduate units from another institution into the CTM or MSTM?
MSTM up to six units CTM no
Can I transfer units from CTM into MSTM? Six units may be transferred from the CTM into
the MSTM provided all MSTM admissions requirements are met.
