Athletics Carnival
The Kyogle District Athletics carnival is on tomorrow, at the Kyogle High School Oval. Students can
catch the bus or be dropped at the oval before 9:30am. Ms Bendall will be at school for those students
that are not competing on Friday. Students must bring a drink bottle and either order their lunch from
the canteen or bring their own. It will be a great day.
Science in the Primary Room
At the Risk PS, we want our students to appreciate the wonders of science. This term we are exploring
an amazing unit of work all about the Material World. Where students will be engaging in lots of hands

to form solution. The hands-on approach is designed to inspire a future generation of budding
scientists!

We will leave school on the Watson’s bus at 8:30am and return before lunchtime. We will begin at the
labyrinth, then have morning tea at the amphitheatre, at 10am we will view the gallery, then visit the
museum and finally we will enjoy a session at the library listening to stories from local authors by
Corrine. Thank you to the people of our town for offering these opportunities to our students. We are
