until they get the title, many wait
until they’re this or that, but that’s
not it…..what God is saying is
learn from David’s experience.
When he was in the wilderness,
he was working in the field to
tend to the sheep. Most people
look at the wilderness as a bad
time, but David was in the wilder-
ness in preparation. David’s time
in the wilderness was a setup by
God as to what was to come.
Be encouraged and know that
some of the trouble and some of
the situations that you are faced
with are nothing but a setup by
God! When David encountered
the lion and the bear, he didn’t
know that he had the power or
strength to kill them, but you
never know what’s in you until
you’re forced to manifest it!!!
David went to the wilderness to
take care of the sheep. He didn’t
go to kill the lion or the bear. But
the only way God could prepare
him and remove any fear that
may be in his spirit publically, He
had to remove it privately!!!
Some of you have fought some
battles that no one knows about
but God, but don’t take it lightly.
God was preparing you for this
next shift that’s about to hit your
life. People may not know who
you are, they may not know that
you are a prayer warrior, they
may not know that you are an
intercessor, they may not know
that you are a mighty and pow-
erful man/woman of God, but
when God anoints you publically,
it cannot be denied. Man may try
to stop it, but God has already
sanctioned it!!
Whatever you’re facing, whatev-
er you’re going through, without a
shadow of a doubt; God has
anointed you for it!
I Sam. 16:12b-13
Many times, we
tend to sit back
and reflect over
our lives and feel
that we are not
worthy, that we
are not qualified,
or that we are
not good enough.
But guess what,
God chose you
anyway. Just
because you
don’t look the part, God has anointed
you for the assignment! Although you
may not feel anointed and people try
to look down on you, it is you that the
Lord has chosen. Just because other
people do not know who you are, the
oil does!!
With each one of Jesse’s sons, Samuel
could not anoint them because they
were not the one. Samuel had to ask,
is there not another son? Even when
people try to keep you hid, God still
sees you!!!! Jesse said that the last son
was out in the field keeping sheep.
Understand that the anointing for the
end times rest on the last son!!! The
anointing that got it started began
with the only begotten Son, but the
one that is going to finish the assign-
ment will be the last son! Well, who is
the last son…the last son is the one
that everybody counted out. The last
son is the one that don’t look like it.
You don’t have the qualifications, but
you have the anointing!! You don’t
have the resources, but you have the
anointing!
David did not look like what he was
called to do. Stop waiting on your
resources, stop waiting on your ap-
pearance, and stop waiting on peo-
ple around you to look like where
you are going!! The oil on your life
has already destined you! The bible
says that the Lord said arise, anoint
him, for this is the one! The bible
says that the anointing came upon
David from that day forward! One
thing about being anointed is that
the anointing attracts attacks! How-
ever, the anointing will always
destroy the attack!! The attack can
never kill what God has anointed
to live! I don’t care who comes
against you or who tries to take
you down, when God says arise,
you better arise, because you are
the one He has anointed. Even your
past can’t cancel the anointing on
your life!
David was not anointed King when
he took the crown. David was
anointed king when God called
him!! Many of us are waiting to
take the position, but you were
called years ago! You’re always
who God says you are, you are
just in process!! God anointed Da-
vid to be king, but it was 17 years
later that he actually became king.
In one chapter, David was anointed
king, in the next chapter he’s
fighting Goliath. You will always
know when the hand of the Lord is
upon your life when you are faced
with situations and circumstances
that has the potential to kill you,
but God allows you to kill it! It has
the power and potential to take
you out, but you have the anointing
from God, so you have the power
to stand fearlessly in it, because
you know that it is the anointing
that destroys the yoke!!
When looking at this story of Da-
vid, long before there is public
validation there will always be
private preparation! Before David
even fought Goliath, God already
had David prepping and testing in
the wilderness! Just because you
haven’t stepped into your ultimate
destiny doesn’t mean you’re not
fulfilling purpose and that God
didn’t call you. Many people wait
until they get to the platform to
think God is using them. Many wait

Pastor Matt Pfaltzgraf, One Life Community Church
Some of the
most difficult
seasons in my
journey with
God have
been those
seasons when
He was mov-
ing me from
one assignment to the next. I call it the
“to” season, meaning glory “to” glory,
revelation “to” revelation!
When we peer into the Word of God
we can glean from the scriptures and
see how Israel had their own “to” sea-
son as well (Exodus 13:17). Moving out
of bondage from Egypt into the wil-
derness, God was preparing Israel to
become equipped to enter the Prom-
ised Land. Just as Israel was led into a
transition season before the promise, I
have found God doing the same with
me.
Transition seasons are just as important
as the seasons that are filled with the
promises of God. It’s that prep time
where God is working in us the ability
to steward the blessing He has for us!
As Israel was led out of Egypt, God
needed a season to get Egypt out of
them. It was a season where God was
teaching them to trust Him, to live in
intimacy, and to worship the God of
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This season
for them was a season of living in provi-
sion (the wilderness) rather than abun-
dance (the promise).
The same has been true for my transi-
tion seasons as well. It seems God
chooses this time to prepare our hearts
and minds to a place of intimacy and
submission. If we are released into a
promise prematurely, it’s likely we will
worship the promise rather than the
promise giver. We have to learn how to
live in awe of the Father of heavenly
lights, the one who gives good and
perfect gifts from above and never
changes (James 1:17).
Remember, Israel missed the op-
portunity to step into the promise
land due to fear, lack of trust, and
not resting in God (Hebrews 4:1).
If you are in this season, take time
to focus on who He is and the
promises that have been spoken
over your life. Ask the Lord to
show you what you need to posses
from this season to take into the
promise. The only blessing God
withholds from us is the one He
knows that we are not ready for.
Allow God to form in you a deep
place of affection for Him, His
ways, and a character to steward
His image.
Be encouraged, as God transitions
you from one assignment to the
next, He is preparing you for
greater! It might feel unstable and
challenging, but just as in the natu-
ral when seasons change its just
the atmosphere getting ready for
the new season!

Revival Begins In You Pastor Edward Houston, New Bethel Baptist Church
It’s Time to Give Birth
Annette Swift, The Ready Writer
In 1995, I was told by my OB-GYN that my daughter was due on October 24th. However, she didn't come until November 1st. For anyone who has or has not been preg-nant before, the last trimester is
the time when you get tired of be-ing pregnant. You're ready for the baby to come, but of course you want the baby to be completely developed. I feel that this is where the body of Christ is in, in a lot of areas. We want the Breakthrough and the promise, but at the same time we want it to be fully developed. We want to make sure we are ready to receive what God has promised us. We were told that a lot of things would happen in 2016, 2017 and especially before 2018. It seemed as if the due dates had expired and a lot of us ended up hopeless and even disgusted be-cause it didn't happen the way we thought it would. Since God didn't move the way we thought He would, or it didn't come to pass the way the prophet said it would. But here's the deal, if you are pregnant, which many of you are, (Spiritually speak-ing that is.) You are going to give birth.
With the experience that I had having my daughter, I was extreme-ly excited when I got pregnant. But by the third trimester, I wanted out of the deal. So many of us, when we got the first prophetic word of what God was going to do in our lives, we were extremely excited. But when we saw that we had to walk it out, the excitement left. We got
discouraged, and some even wanted to throw in the towel. But just like Jeremiah said, “I will forget about him. I will not speak anymore in his name. But when I say that, his message is like a fire burning inside me! (Jer. 20:9 ERV) He wanted to give up, but something in him would not let him throw in the tow-el. After my daughter still hadn't come by October 31st, my doctor began to get concerned and they induced my labor. With 15 hours of Labor, she still never "dropped" or went toward the birth canal. It would seem that with them inducing my labor, she would come, but it wasn't time, even with that. No matter what other measures you tried to do or even taking matters in your own hands, your breakthrough is not going to come until it's time. The Bible says in Galatians chapter 6 that we are going to reap in due season if we faint not. Due season is just that, a season and a time - not a specific date though. I do believe that you are preg-nant. I do believe that you have experi-enced false labor pains in some cases when you thought it was time but it wasn't. I do believe that some of you have even been induced but nothing came forth - YET! After they induce my labor and she still didn't come, the doctor had to perform a cesarean section (C-Section) in order for me to give birth. Our doctor, Jesus the Anointed One, is going to make sure that you give birth! There will be no abortions, miscarriages or stillbirths in this season. The destiny and break-throughs that you are pregnant with must come forth because it's not about you... it's about the people that you are going to reach and the lives that you're going to change through what you went through. No time has been wasted and no pain is without purpose.
During my pregnancy, I would often look at pregnancy videos and watching other women give birth. This one particular video caught my attention because the lady was having contractions and she had already dilated 10 centi-meters. She was ready to give birth, but she had to wait on the doctor's instructions. Even when you're ready to give birth, people of God, you have to wait on the instructions of God for your next move. The doctor gently whispered to the lady, "With your next contraction PUSH!" I believe God is saying to us that with our next contraction, all we have to do is push! They say pray until something happens, but I say praise until something happens. You have already prayed about it now praise for it! It's not a question of if it's going to happen, the ques-tion is when. There is an appointed time and no matter how many contractions you get, no matter how much pain you're in, don't get weary in well-doing you are going to reap... have the baby... in due season if you faint not! People of God it's time to give birth and it is your season! The Ready Writer Bully Me Not Foundation

Page 5 Distractions
Elder W. David Knight, Jr., Kingdom Klothing
Consider the defi-
nition of distrac-
tion: A condition
or state of mind in
which the attention
is diverted from
an original focus
or interest.
Being distracted is not a new con-
cept. It is easy to become distracted
before we realize what has hap-
pened. You ever just stop and say,
“this was not what I planned to do
today”? Something came in and dis-
tracted you and diverted your original
focus. This is why you can go through
an entire day and do things, but none
of them were what you originally
planned. Not only did you not do what
you planned; but you did things that
were not of importance or value. You
were distracted.
Could have been the doorbell, a phone
call, somebody coming by unexpected
or that person that stopped by your
office for advice. The list goes on and
on. It also includes those things that
distract your flesh.
James 1:14-15 states that every man is
tempted when he is drawn (distracted)
away of his own lust and en-
ticed… Your distractions that take
place in your flesh are coming from
your own lusts. Not what the devil
makes you do. It’s your own lust!
We must define the source of the dis-
traction and then resist it. To resist
distraction, we have to be strong and
of good courage. If you are tempted
to go left when God says go right,
resist. If you are tempted to look
down, when you should look up, re-
sist. We use the Sword of the Spirit
and faith and prayer. When Satan
came to tempt Jesus, the ultimate goal
was to distract Him from his destiny.
I want to encourage you and let you
know that as you begin your trip down
destiny boulevard, your enemies will
start to come. Enemies come in many
forms. Some will be open and up front
while others will come appearing to be
angels of light. Their agenda is to get
you distracted. Most people that you
encounter along the way, are not actu-
ally sent by God. They are primarily
there to slow your progress and to get
you distracted.
Your distraction may be a person, a
financial hardship, a sickness or you
may prove to be your own biggest
distraction. Whether large or small,
human or otherwise, distractions have
something in common and that is they
show up to get you off course and alter
your destiny. You cannot go through
life with blinders on. You must under-
stand that your enemy has access to
you because God allowed it. If God
allowed it, there is a reason for
it. God’s purpose is to bring you to
maturity. God is preparing to elevate
you to a new level. Until you conquer
the level you’re on, you can’t reach the
next one. The enemy means it for evil,
but God is going to use it for your
good.
The book of Hebrews tells us to “…lay
aside every weight and sin which so
easily ensnares us…”. Notice that it
says the weight and sin “easily” en-
snares us. That is an indication that it is
born out of your own lust. Keep your
eyes focused beyond your suffering,
failures, pain and temptations. God’s
ability to keep you and restore
you goes beyond understand-
ing. Sometimes what we think is
our greatest distraction, God sees
as a tool and/or instrument to
develop us into who He has de-
sired for us to become.
The bible tells the story of a man
name Joseph. Joseph was a dece-
dent of Jacob and the first of two
sons that Jacob had with Ra-
chel. Joseph was the favorite son
of his father. The favoritism shown
to him by his father fueled the
envy of his brother against
him. So there came a day that his
brothers plotted to kill him. Rather
than kill him, the eldest brother
convinced them to throw Joseph in
a pit. They stripped him of his
coat of many colors and then sold
him to Ishmalites, who were pass-
ing by. I don’t know about you
but I am confident that my anoint-
ing is not wrapped in a coat or
determined by what position you
try to put me in!
Would being discarded by your
brothers, sisters or the church dis-
tract you? Would being sold into
slavery distract you? No matter
what position we are in we have
to stay focused. Don’t lose focus
over your surroundings, stay fo-
cused on the promise. The promise
will overshadow the distraction, if
you keep it in view.

The Breaking Process
Apostle Michael Bacon, Glory Tabernacle International Ministries
This has been one of the hard-est years of my life. Literally, there have been times that I didn’t think I would make it through. Other times, I wanted to quit. I have been through so many things that it has at times been overwhelming. I will not list all the things that have happened to me and my fami-ly, because I know there are
other people who have gone through or are going through too. My situation is not unique. In fact, it is common for those that God has called to do His work. Everything I have, everything that I am, everything that I know has been under attack. If you have been there, then you know what I am talking about. When we are at-tacked, we ask God all kinds of questions. Why am I being attacked? When will this be over? Did I do something wrong? How do I get out of this situation? Is God angry at me? Has God left me? I have asked all these questions and more at times. But, there is a reason that I and others have been going through. It is called the break-ing process. As part of the transformation pro-cess and in order to make us fit or ready for what God has for us to do there has to be a breaking that happens. One of the things that comes to mind when I think about the breaking process is horses. A horse that is trained to be ridden or that pulls a wagon is called broke. Many people do not like the word broke or broken because it implies that the training was done by force to break the horse’s spirit. Back in the old days, horses were rounded up off the range. The westerners who wanted to make the horses useful quickly would use a method called “bucked out”. This was where a rough rider would get on the horse and break down the will of the horse until it became obedient. Some of these rough riders would even beat the horse or whip it until it complied. Eventually, the horse would obey due to the rough breaking. The problem with this method was that many of the horses that were broken would later act up or rebel against their riders. The better way to break a horse is called “gentle breaking”. This type of breaking takes longer, but in the end you get a fully trained and obedient horse that can be safely ridden by men. These horses are considered to be “well broke” and are well trained and under-stand more than just the basics of “go” and “whoa”. One of the things that is interesting about horse breaking is that there are different types of breaking in that have to happen de-pending on what type of work the horse will do. Saddle breaking is training a horse to carry a rider. Harness breaking is training a horse to pull a vehicle. Depending on the purpose, the training and the breaking process is different. Also, not every horse is cut out to pull a vehicle. Some horses don’t have the strength or endur-ance to carry loads. They may be good at carrying a rider, but they don’t have the ability to pull a wagon or a vehicle. Unfortunately, what happens too often is that someone will take a riding horse and suddenly harness it and hitch it to a horse-drawn vehicle without taking the proper training steps. What you end up with is a runaway horse, bucking and kicking trying to escape the jaws of the monster that is sud-denly coming up behind them. When this hap-pens and it happens all the time, there usually ends up being a very bad wreck where the horse, and the people or property are seriously
damaged and the horse has had it’s trust and confidence shattered. There are qualifications that have to be consid-ered when picking a horse to be a driving horse. First driving horses should be bold and inquisitive, but kind in nature. For instance, a horse that tends to run away from barking dogs in fear, or, just the opposite, aggressively chases, bites and strikes at dogs, is probably not a likely candidate for work in harness. When you are out and about driving your horse in the real world you do not have con-trol over what happens in the environment around you so you had better at least have control of your horse because when a driving horse gets out of control things tend to go from bad to worse to ugly in a big hurry. So here’s a little test. While your horse is quietly grazing, or half asleep while turned out in the paddock, create a sudden and unexpected dis-turbance. You can throw a ball, empty bucket, or plastic chair, and aim for the ground just a few feet behind them. If the horse reacts by bolting across the arena or paddock, or turns and strikes at the intruder, then your horse is probably not the best candidate for working in harness. However, if your horse simply turns, drops his or her head and looks inquisitively at the object, then walks over and sniffs and gently nudges the ob-ject, then you’ve got a potential harness horse. Now, lets take this analogy of breaking horses and apply it to those called by God to do His will and purpose on this earth. Each of us is in this earth (pasture) grazing and loving life. We are a free stallion. Running around and doing as we please in the world. Then, we are chosen by God. He gathers us from the pas-ture. He puts His brand on us (His mark) so that everyone knows we belong to Him. We are no longer wandering and doing what we want to do. We are now being broken (trained). Everyone is selected to be a rider horse. So everyone goes through the process of becoming a new creature in Christ. We are being transformed into His image. That process begins with us dying to ourselves, our agendas, our ways. Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. John 3:30-35, 30 He must increase, but I must decrease. What we are dying to is that old man. The rebellious stallion that we used to be is now being transformed and conformed into God’s image. Only, God does not rough ride us. He patiently and lovingly breaks us and molds us into His image from one level of glory to anoth-er level of glory. 2 Corinthians 3:18, But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Thankfully, God has such a love for His servants that He breaks them so they can be usable for His kingdom. I believe that God looks at our hearts to see how broken we have become. Brokenness is not just on the outside its also on the inside. It is the
issues of the heart that God most cares about. God is always searching our hearts to see if they are fully surrendered to Him. I will tell you that if you are called to an apostolic ministry or pastoral ministry, that you will have to also go through additional breaking, because you are called to carry the load like a harness horse. The responsi-bilities of God’s children can be overwhelm-ing at times. You must be broken so that you will reflect the Father’s love for His children. If you are called to an apostolic or pastoral ministry, you can expect to go through rejec-tion, disappointment, delays, financial issues, and even defamation. You cannot go into these ministries with anger issues, a critical spirit, a judgmental spirit, a man-pleasing spirit, or any fear. You are responsible not only for your safety, but the safety of God’s people, and all that He has entrusted you with. That is why the breaking process is critical to you being in this type of ministry. There is much more at stake when you are a harness horse than a rider horse. A harness horse can kill many people if not fully trained and disciplined. A rider horse may only kill the single rider it carries on it’s back. Many of you are being broken to be a har-ness horse. It is not an easy process. There are times where the weight of things seem unbearable. It feels like God is requiring more and more out of you. Things are closing in around you. The pastures are right there, but you can’t run freely in them any more. You are God’s servant and you have to lay down your life to serve Him no matter what the cost is to you. Think and meditate on this scripture for a moment. Matthew 16:25, For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. We can choose to not submit to the breaking process. God gives us a free will. He wants us to submit to the “gentle breaking” versus the “rough breaking”. You can choose who you will serve. If you live for this world all these things will pass away when you die, but if you choose to give up your life to serve God, then you will receive an inher-itance in Heaven. If you are willing to lay down your life to obey the call of God in your life it will re-quire several things: 1. We can no longer be in control of our lives. a. God will tell you what, where, when. b. You have to be willing to do what ever He says. 2. We must be willing to die to ourselves. a. Dying to our own desires. b. Dying to our will and emotions. c. Dying to how things will be done. d. Putting up with delays and frustra- tions. e. Laying down anger. f. Being willing to lose your life for God’s work.

3. We must become obedient in all things. a. We can’t pick or choose what we will be obedient in b. We must be obedient in all areas of our lives. c. We don’t just obey when we understand, but even when we don’t understand. d. God says obedience is better than sacrifice. e. Those that love God obey God. 4. We must learn to trust God completely. a. Trust is something that we have to blindly have for God. He loves and cares for us but many people do not trust God like they should. You can’t be in ministry if you have no trust. b. Trust and faith go hand in hand. When I trust God I am showing Him my faith in Him. c. Trusting God means that I take my hands off the situa- tion and let Him do the work. 5. We must learn to praise God
in all things.
a. Our flesh may not feel like it, but we must praise God in the trials, the storms, the tests and the tribulations. b. The old man murmurs and com- plains. The new man praises God in all things. 6. We must let go of our methods and our ways. a. We keep creating Ishmaels. Stop forcing things. Let God do it His way. b. We must submit to God in all of our ways. c. A way seems right to a man but in the end brings destruct- tion. d. God’s ways are not our ways. e. God often does things that defies logic. f. God makes a way when there seems to be no way. Church, I believe that there is greatness in the body of Christ, but many of us are not willing to pay the price that is required to be in ministry. We cannot have great ministries if we are not willing to be broken by God. We have to freely submit to the breaking pro-cess. It is a choice God gives us to make whether we will allow this breaking to happen or not. I believe God has given many of us this choice. I also believe
that not many of us are willing to go through to get what God has for us. I would liken the breaking process to death or a Job experi-ence. You will feel like your losing your mind. You will feel like your losing control of your life, because you are losing control. You will feel like your losing everything includ-ing your possessions, your status, your financial stability. In a way you are, because you have given your finances over to God too. You have to trust God now. You can’t make things happen any more. You are being broken. God has a different plan for your life. I am not saying He won’t bless you, because He will. I don’t believe He wants His people poor. But, He doesn’t want us putting our trust in riches either. God is our source, our provider, and the one who sustains us. Are you willing to broken? If you are willing, God can use you. In fact, the only way we can be used is to be broken. I pray you will meditate on this teaching and ask the Lord to prepare you for what He has for your life. The time is short and there is much work to be done. Will you lose your life for Christ? That is the question. Glory Tabernacle Int’l Ministries YouTube Channel
