The Recreated Human Spirit

Man is a spirit; when he is born again, he receives the life and nature of God intohis spirit. The changes that are later observed in his soul and body are activatedfrom his spirit. This is why God wants you to nurture and develop your spirit because itis only through your spirit that you can make contact with Him.You need constantly to feed and nurture your heart with the Word of God. I’m nottalking about the organ that pumps blood through your body but your human spiritwhich acts as the soil for the Word of God; the human spirit feeds on the Word of God.No wonder the Lord Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone but by every word thatproceeds out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). That way, even your mind becomesproductive, fruitful, renewed and completely void of the devil’s thoughts and ideas. Feedyour spirit with God’s Word!God doesn’t appeal to the human mind or the senses because the mind limits God.Rather, He appeals to your spirit. He communicates and leads you through your spirit.The Bible says the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord (Proverbs 20:27). So the light ofGod is not in your mind but in your spirit. This is where the Word of God illuminates;“For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness” (Psalm18:28).The forces of life are domiciled in your spirit, but you’ve got to cultivate them!
