The question is not “What super power would I have?” but “What can I do within my power to be

Super ?”

“The greatest waste in our society is in man himself, which is the consequence of man’s failure to appropriate his powers. The sleeping giant lies within each individual – all that is needed is to awake him… There is nothing that makes man strong except that which he carries on the inside of himself. As man cultivates the finer qualities, it is then that he makes the most of life and becomes great and happy, strong and successful” (Making The Most Of Life, Brownlow, p. 5).

•  Our failure to take responsibility is an epidemic, all the way from culture to the individual. Potential is stifled every time we put the blame on somebody else – it is like an opportunity lost!

•  Everything – from learning a new skill or hobby, to financial management, to cultivating relationships, to owning up to sin – is ruined when It’s always “someone else’s fault!”

•  Be Careful not to “Learn Their Ways”

•  Bad attitudes can rub off

Well, I don’t really care what anybody else thinks. If the Bible doesn’t say I can’t--

You must have never read Matthew 5:13-16!

Meanwhile, back at the Batcave, Robin tries to defend his social drinking, recreational gambling, and taste for raunchy comedies…

•  Is it possible to be aimless and still please God? Remember the sluggard (Proverbs 24:30-34)!

•  The great heroes of the Bible were men and women of action – Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Ruth, Esther, Paul, and especially Jesus.

•  Philippians 3:13-14, 1 Corinthians 9:22-27

•  What do you aim to be?
