. The puritans were originally from england

. They were all against the beliefs of the church under King George the first

. Said that the church of England had man-made Doctrine (bible teachings)

. The puritans came to America to search for religious freedom. . About 21,000 of them came to Massachusetts Bay Colony and later formed the Congregational Church. . The main purpose of the puritans moving to North America was to find religious freedom and purify the church.
