the pros and cons of responsive design
DESCRIPTION
The phenomenal growth in mobile phones has introduced a problem for designers and developers where there are now multiple, unstandardized mobile screen sizes used to display web content. Technologies based on Responsive Design where the page automatically scales to the width of the screen promises to alleviate these headaches. In this talk, we will explore the pros and cons of Responsive Design. In particular, we will explore issues such as cross-browser and device compatibilities, loading times, development time and resources, and accessibility compliance based on our experience with building large scale responsive design applications.TRANSCRIPT
