Abstract

These research purposes were: to study, The Process of Design Infographic identity

Phi-Khon-Nam Ban Nasao District in Loei. The sample population consisted of 65 people,

including community leaders, local scholars, and the tourist. The instrument was a questionnaire,

focus groups, and observation tools and techniques to gather information. Check out the info

using information through triangulation. Data were analyzed using content analysis Presented by

a descriptive study. The result of the study was: The Process of Design Infographic identity Phi-

Khon-Nam Ban Nasao District in Loei. This research was discovery 3 Step of steps in the survey,

process design, and development process of publishing. 2. Design Infographic identity Phi-Khon-

Nam Ban Nasao District in Loei. Is divided into three areas:1. Dress, the shirt made from rags and

old mattresses made of wool, sew along the diagonal of the body. The ankle-length dyed black or

yellow and purple. The mask made of softwood design a cover similar to Buffalo Helix. Made of

zinc Most were made of reeds bending. Use colored paper cut into strips Epicalyx. Hair extensions

made from dried banana. Skits stance these songbirds fly across the site of the show. The

instruments are unsubstantiated Drums or instruments, 2. Play of gesture uses the “Nok Sai Bin

Kam Tung” play along with the slow dance combine with “Kan, pin, Suang, Kalow, Kading. 3.

The community strongly believes in the animal of farming likes buffalos and cows these the

masks model for “Phi-Khon-Nam” or “Mang Na Ngam” they like the animal and culture to the

1. Introduction

Loei province established by two kings of the “Yonok Chaingsan Kingdom” one was

“Por Khun Bang Klang How” he was found “Ban Kawo Village” next to “Huang River” on the

right. Another was “Por Khun Pha-Muang” he was found “Ban Dan-Sai” next to “Mun River” on

the left of “Dan-sai District” today.

Culture and tradition tell the roots of the predecessor of humanity. Loei province and

the Laos Republic is the good neighborhood in the lifestyle of living, language, and religion.

Furthermore some Loei is districts were next to Los such as Ta-lee, Pah-Chom, Chiang-Khan, and

Dan-sai”. “Na-Sao villaเe” is the origin of “Phi-Khon-Nam” culture was found by “Muan-nin” the

name of the village was named as the canals as long as the long bamboo. The celebration was on

the sixth month at “Wat Pho-see” Na-Sao village, Chiang-khan District, Loei (Thairoge

Poungmanee 2013 P.7)

“Phi-Khon-Nam” tradition represents the cohesion of the community. Sane as “Jirawat

Pherson (2013 P. 493) Definition the tradition and culture is the way of life in their community

represented by music, band, composer, musicians, instruments, customs, and dancing.

Today infographic is the part of multimedia and information technology by using the

digital design to describe the history of tradition and culture through the infographic 3d motion

step by step. (Kittipong Prachachit 2016 p.131-134) Design the development of infographic to

present Sresaket Province.

From this research, I create the proceeding the infographic of Phi-Khon-Nam identity

of Ban- Na-Sao, Loei to the tourist public.

The problem of Phi-Khon-Nam tradition cannot be design in the infographic method,

and transform the handwriting history to become a picture. The infographic is more advantage from

other easy to install more attractive to people and inexpensive creation. (1)

2. Method

There are two objects of this research. 1) Study the proceeding of infographic of Phi-

Khon-Nam identity of Ban-Na-Sao, Loei Province. 2) The design infographic of Phi-Khon-Nam

identity.

The Procedures, theory, and research follow through The Participatory Action

Research (PAR) and infographic research and theory of Jun Sakurada (2013) follow by five steps.

indicators as a procedure of infographic design of Phi-Khon-Nam, Ban-Na-Sao, Loei, and the three

parts of the infographic design 1. Costumes 2. Dance 3. Believing.

3. Research tools divided into seven options.

3.1 Interview form 2 forms are:

1) Interview form of context culture of Na-Sao village, Loei

This infographic could be the most valuable masterpiece of creative publication there

was an obvious identity for every ages and sex. Therefore; the English version had been published

for this research. After study and research of infographic become more attractive than writing. Its

can show stimulate of passion in the consistency of the Learning and creative arts (Wiroon

Tungcharoen, 2014 Pp. 106-114). Learning art creative in imagination, creative, ventilate,

inspiration, and inheritance. When combining the theory of design and infographic that info design

for handwriting, symbols, illustrations, and photos. And the graphic design for books, magazines,

4. Discussion and Conclusion

The procedure infographic design of “Pee-khon-Nam” in 3 steps; step one study and

collected data, step two design and development, step three publication. Together with the

development of Jun Sakurada, 2015 in 5 steps. Pictogram, Diagram, Infographic diagram,

Infographic, and published an infographic. The research found the history slowly disappear in a

period. Also, this research would conserve the tradition remains in the local community.

The identity costumes of “Pee-khon-Nam”; the research found the similar as “Pee-ta-

khon” in Dan-sai district the dress made from pieces of rags. Consistent with Jacques Derrida, 1973

Design of the costumes; a symbol of the tradition and culture discovered in the Modern age and

Songriri Wichiranon, 2529 p.41. The people brought all daily an appliance to make the costumes,

for example, the kitchen wares for the mask. The identity of the mask was flat and bent out they

have rope wrap around the head. It is the difference from “Ta-Khon” mask that has a mantle over

the head. Such the dress told the roots of predecessors, societies, and communities entailed to the

designer, presenters, stories, and the receiver.

The identity of dancing; “Pee-khon-Nam” ceremony would play along with local music

and musical instruments called “Nok-Sai-bin-Kam-tung.” As the Anthropologist in 19 and 20

century believed that religious ceremony and sacrifice for God made people dressed up and danced

like animals before they went hunting and wars. Cause of that human designed the dance and music

belongs to their own cultures.

The Identity of believing; the relationship between human and nature that created

religions, faiths, holy objects; ghost, and spirits. “Na-Saw” people believed that “Phi-khon-Name”

is the symbol of buffalos and cows that connected to nature spirits will remain the exuberant

agriculture. They that the rain is the most important thing that makes everything to survive the

ceremony would tell God to let the rainfall in time every year. The ceremony brought people

together to pay respect to holy spirits and passed on education generations to generations.

Suggestions

1. Should have more research and study in the design of costumes and jewelry from

identity “Phi-Khon-Name.”

2. Should have research and development about design with the modern designers and

art designers for new ideas.

3. Should increase more statics in the research.

The infographic design in the higher methodology to simulate the handwriting data

and number of details become a picture that very easy to demonstrate to the people in Thai and

English version. (3)
