This miniseries "illfeature the first ad(enture of He)*o, "ho is destined to become +ing !ra%s&ull later in theseries, "here "e "ill also learn the origin of the Castle of !ra%s&ull and its m%sterious

po"ers.

The difference bet"een the MVC stor% and the MP episode "ill be co(ered at thebeginning of the series. -e "ill learn that the e(ents co(ered b% the cartoon are asimplified (ersion of the real stor% a sort of fair% tale told to Prince Adam b% the Sorceress.

The "hole series "ill follo" a structure similar to the episode, but "ith greater detail, e(ento the point that the ph%sical difference bet"een He)*o and +ing !ra%s&ull "ill bee#plained.

Man% of the elements incorporated into the series originate from the classic canon and

man% other sources such as the Mattel st%le guides and /ilmation series bible. Thepurpose of this bible is to tie all those elements together in a ne" cohesi(e canon.

The regular series "ill de(elop in arcs, "hile the main stor% "ill slo"l% progress "ith man%subplots de(eloping. Single issue stories are possible from time to time.

Ta&en b% 0ldor to a m%sterious ca(e, !ra% "as imbued "ith a great po"er that changedhis life and the histor% of 0ternia. The e#act details of "hat transpired in the ca(e remain aclosel% guarded secret, but 0ldor ma&es cr%ptic allusions...references to the bo%;sm%sterious past, ama1ing legac%...and to an astonishing tas& "hich !ra% accomplished

obtaining the magical blood of a giant. The racle "arns that the solution is one fraught"ith danger as mi#ing the blood of a human and a giant could result in death to theindi(idual. Ha(ing been e#posed to the po"ers of the Starseed, He)*o "ill be able toresist to the terrible magic of the blood donated b% the giant T%tus. The transfusion "ill notbe "ithout its consequences though, as !ra%;s ph%sical form transforms into a half)giant5"ith his hair turning blonde li&e T%tus46. This "ill e#plain "h% the +ing !ra%s&ull character"e see in the cartoon is so radicall% different from He)*o and "ill also "or& the giant T%tusinto the stor% "ith an important role.

He)*o "ill also build the Castle and forge the S"ord of Po"er and the S"ord of Protectionduring the series.

The purpose of the Po"ers"ord is e#actl% the same as the one in the classic minicomic: itis the &e% "ith the abilit% to unloc& all the Po"ers of !ra%s&ull.

8n this series he has the role that Man)At)Arms and 5in part6 the Sorceress had in theclassic series: he is the counselor to !ra% and He)*o, and the e#pert magician of theCouncil of the -ise. His origin is a secret, but he has been a lo%al all% to the house of!ra%s&ull since the first !reat -ar and the fall of 8nfinitia.

Possibl% 0ldor has the same origins as Horda& an entit% generated directl% b% theancients, but not as po"erful. He has been chosen to be the &eeper of the Boo& of the2i(ing Spells and once the Boo& "as dismembered during the "ar for 8nfinitia he "asgi(en the tas& to collect the lost spells "ith the aid of He)*o.

As a guide for !ra%, he "ill tr% to shape the bo%s4 personalit%, teaching him "isdom andlo(e. 8n the series he "ill be the one that helps He)*o "hen the "arrior needs help. 0ldorshould ne(er offer the solution, but help He)*o to find it b% himself, especiall% "hen the%oung man is faced "ith a moral dilemma.

Sharella is strong and has man% fighting s&ills

Member of the Council of the -ise from the great cit% of =alesia. He is the &eeper of the*am Stone and possesses the Ha(oc Staff, one of the $&e%s' of 0ternia.

2ater in the series, to protect 0ternia against the Horde of the 9nnamed, He)*o and agroup of "i1ards cast a spell to isolate and protect the planet, banishing the Horde from0ternia. The spell from the Boo& is cast so that a fe" &e%s e#ist, allo"ing occasional

passages through the barrier. The Ha(oc Staff is one of the &e%s.

+eldor "as sent to the past b% Horda& to see& out and retrie(e the Ha(oc Staff.

The /aceless one has a child, 0(il)2%n, a child he "as not supposed to ha(e. The lost half)brother of Captain *andor, the embittered, aspiring "i1ard +eldordisappeared during one of his e#periments, finding himself transported to Horde -orld.There he met Horda& and became his pupil, learning as much as he could about the dar&arts as possible.

Horda& sent +eldor on a mission into the ancient past of 0ternia to claim one of the &e%s inorder to penetrate the magical barrier surrounding 0ternia and !ra%s&ull, hoping toaccomplish an elaborate plan put into place b% Horde Prime3

>uring his trip into the past, +eldor meets +ing Hiss and the 9nnamed, but also comesface to face "ith He)*o and the t"o stri&e up a ri(alr% of sorts, both collecting the lost2i(ing Spells.

+eldor is not a (illain during this series, but he "ill slo"l% ma&e decisions that shape hise(il destin%. There "ill be moments "here "e "ill see him perform good deeds and careabout other people.
