•There are people that go to extremes to make money-hurting the environment and others in the process

•They forget to be charitable

•Nothing becomes as important to them as developing their business (wealth)- forgetting their families and communities

•They forget God and think of themselves as more important or greater than God

Be Fearless

For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and

says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

•When David said he would do it, Saul gave him his special made armor

•David went with what he knew best & had 5 back up plans

•He had confidence in God “this day the Lord will deliver you into my hand.”

•Even though you might be small today, that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to take down the giants tomorrow.

Think Big Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23-24

ordinary jobs to do extraordinary things

•When the Master was going on a trip he left 3 of his servants in charge of different amounts of “talents”. One got 5 , one got 2 and the last one got 1. He had distributed them according to the servants abilities. The first two took the talents and invested them doubling what they were given. The last one had buried it in the ground and returned what was given to him.

•Ephesians 3:20 says that God is “able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”

Surround Yourself with Great People“He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm”

“Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, he shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:6

Never to forget God

When you make a mistake, admit it & move past it

Keep in mind that repentance does not set you free from consequences

Teach by example: think of when Jesus washed the feet of his disciples

Learn to receive: do not be so proud that you can’t ask for help

Humility does not mean you think less of yourself. It means you think of yourself less. Ken Blanchard

Have DisciplineFor God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness;

but of power and love and discipline. Timothy 1:7

•Do not give or accept excuses

•Do not lose focus

•Be prepared to make sacrifices

•Make sure the time you are spending is meaningful

Do not use “God’s” will as an excuse. Or the old, “it happens for a reason.”

If you have visions or dreams you cannot shake

It’s something that brings glory to God

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declared the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’” Jeremiah 29:11
