Enclosed by covered porches and views that stretch for miles, the Clubhouse at Trillium offers a grand dining room furnished with period antiques and imbued with colors that mimic nature. The large lush Clubhouse Lawn is a wonderful space to let the natural surroundings frame your special day. Your Perfect MenuWe are committed to creating a unique experience for the reception, which will appeal to your culinary expression and desires. Custom menus will be created from your needs and specifications. We spent our time meeting and talking with food growers and new farmers in the North Carolina area, sourcing new product in order to further our farm to table approach to our restaurants. We found many new and exciting products to keep up with the latest trends in culinary world and toured a seafood distribution facility to see the process

behind how we receive the freshest fish possible through Trilliums doors.

confirmation and summary of all the arrangements

returned to our team.

What is the timing for my wedding?The start time for your ceremony is flexible based on your desired program of events. Amplified music must be turned off with guest departure by 11:00 pm.

Do you allow decorations?Yes! We welcome decorations, such as flowers, candles, and lighting. We do not allow anything to be applied to the walls or building that will cause damage. If you choose to use candles, we require that they are in containers or on a stand to prevent damage to surfaces or linens.

What type of music is permitted?Our venues are designed for everything from DJs to full dance bands. Amplified music is restricted to inside spaces; however, wedding ceremonies may have speaker systems for voice and appropriate music accompaniments.

What is the difference between a Wedding Planner and Venue Coordinator?The Venue Coordinator is employed by Trillium Links and Lake and is responsible for the day to day operation of our event spaces.They’re here to answer any questions about the property, offer suggestions for planning leading up to the day of the event, and then assist your Wedding Planner with the coordination of vendors and events during your wedding at no additional cost to you. The Wedding Planner is hired directly by you and their fee is not included in the price quoted by Trillium. We’re happy to offer our approved planner list upon request. Based on your needs, they’ll assist with everything from design/color palette selections to caterer selections, floral arrangements, photography scheduling, and many of the other details that make for a seamless and stress free wedding.

Contracts/PoliciesTAXES & SERVICE CHARGES:• Responsible party (hereby known as the Client) agrees to pay Trillium Links & Lake Club (by known as the Club) a 20%

service charge based on the cost of food & beverage. Responsible party agrees to pay all applicable taxes associated with the event (6.75%).

PAYMENT:• Facilities are confirmed for specified date upon the receipt of the Facility Usage Agreement and full payment of the rental.• The Facility Usage Fee and deposits are non refundable.• Client must communicate the final food and bar menus to Management no less than four weeks prior to event date, at which

time, 50% of the estimated cost is due.• Upon receiving the guaranteed number of guests 14 days prior to the event (see Guarantee below), the remaining balance

for food menus is due.• Selected alcohol package balances are also due two weeks prior to the event date.• Any outstanding balances (bar tab if applicable) are due and payable by personal check, or credit card (applicable processing

fees) on the day of the event.• Any outstanding balances remaining past the 24-hour period will be automatically charged to client’s credit card on file (in

addition to Credit Card merchant fees if applicable).

CANCELLATIONS:• Events that are cancelled will result in a forfeiture of all deposits and/or payments made.• Taxes, service and alcoholic beverage charges are not counted as part of the minimum.

GUARANTEE:• Client must communicate the final number of guests to Management no less than 14 days prior to the event date. This

number of guests will be considered as a guarantee and final billing will be based on this number.• Any increases or decreases in guest numbers past the given deadline are subject to be charged an additional fee to compensate

any additional costs necessary. (Fees vary according to price per plate)• Guests 13 years and older are considered adults, guests between the ages 5-12 years will be charged half price and guests

under 5 are no charge.• A Client must submit a list of vendors they deem as ‘guests’ (partaking in the food and beverage of the event – wedding

planner, florist, entertainment etc.) to management two weeks prior to the event. These will be included in the final guest number guarantee.

• Any vendor that is not included in the guaranteed number of guests, but takes part in the event, including food and beverages, will be charged as an additional guest.

RENTAL FEES:• The Club will not be responsible for any lost or stolen rental items according to contractual agreements between client and

third party vendors.• A tent may be required for events with 100 or more guests.

DAMAGE/LOSS:• Client is responsible for any damage or theft by guests at the Club facilities during the period of time the facility is contracted

by the Client.• Client assumes sole responsibility for personal property including automobiles of guests and/or vendors during the event.

The Club is not responsible for loss, damage or theft of any personal property of Client or their guests and/or vendors at the Club facilities.

• Client and their guests who make use of Club facilities do so at their own risk.• Client indemnifies and will hold harmless the Club from and against any and all loss, damage, claims or suits arising out of

personal injury or property damage caused by intentional or negligent acts of Client or their guests/vendors.• The credit card authorization form must be completed and returned with this agreement prior to confirmation of the event.

The credit card authorization will be used as a guarantee for payment of any damages or losses assessed by the Club during use or any unpaid balances remaining in the 24-hour period following the event.

• Client is responsible for the safety of all underage children (18 years or less) and their actions as well as any damages incurred due to intentional acts or negligence.

SIGNAGE/DECORATION:• Signage and decoration used for directing guests may be placed on the property only with prior approval (design and

placement) of Management.

TRANSPORTATION:• The Clubhouse and Landings have limited parking. Client must submit and discuss guest parking and transportation needs

to Management prior to the event. Additional fees may apply for parking attendants and/or for additional transportation needs.

• If available, Trillium Trolley will be provided for no additional fee to escort guests from the Clubhouse parking lot to Clubhouse and/or The Landings.

SECURITY:• If Management deems it necessary to secure additional staffing for security or parking purposes, the Client will be required

to pay the additional expense. Management will provide an estimate for that service prior to confirmation of the event.

ENTERTAINMENT/BANDS:• Outdoor entertainment at the Landings or Clubhouse must end no later than 10:30 pm and noise must be kept at an

acceptable level per Management.• Management must pre-approve entertainment contracts prior to Clients signing.• Client must submit electrical needs and riders for entertainment/bands to Club (2) weeks prior to event date.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE:• The Club, with the exception of a wedding cake, must provide all food and beverages.• Food and beverage options are to be selected from our Banquet menus Our Food and Beverage Director/Executive Chef is

available to help customize menus and bar packages to meet your specific needs. All Food and Beverage pricing is provided by the Food and Beverage Director, and is subject to change prior to Menu Agreement, Signed Contract, and receipt of 50% Deposit of Total Estimate.

• North Carolina Heath Department codes state that buffets may be available to guests for a maximum of three hours, therefore requests for “to go” items from the buffet are prohibited.

• Bride/Groom To-Go orders are available by early request only.• Persons believed to be less than 21 years of age and drinking or persons believed to be intoxicated will be carded and

appropriate action will be taken.• Management reserves the right to facilitate and comply with all North Carolina ABC Laws by carding, denying service,

alerting authorities or closing the bar.• Illegal substances or drugs are prohibited anywhere on the premises.

FACILITIES:• Trillium Links and Lake Club is a private club. Use of any other amenities or services by Client or their guests is prohibited

unless approved by Management or if such persons have contracted to rent a home within the property. All houseguests are required to register with the Office of Member Services or their rental agent and once properly registered will be is sued a Guest Card.

• Client and their guests must abide by all Club Rules and Regulations and Client is responsible for guests’ conduct.• Large gatherings in Trillium homes are not permitted at any time. Clients and guests need to be aware that events booked

at either The Clubhouse or The Landings do not include the right to hold “pre-event” or “after-event parties” in any Trillium guest homes (Please refer to your Home Rental Agreement).

The venue was perfect for our wedding weekend. Chef Taylor perfectly crafted our custom menu and his staff presented all of the food in such a beautiful way. I can honestly say we accomplished the feat of having a

memorable wedding feast! The bar staff also served custom cocktails and the results were delicious! We used the Landings dining area for our Rehearsal dinner and our Post-Wedding brunch, both meals were incredible!

The Trillium events staff was fantastic with set up and considering they were working directly with me (the bride) and no wedding coordinator, they made the process as seamless as possible.
