Outback Steakhouse’s name sponsorship of the bowl will take their partnership to a total of 25 years, the longest college bowl game title sponsorship in history. “It was an easy decision to continue to support two things we are very passionate about – Tampa Bay and great college football,” said Jeff Smith, President of Outback Steakhouse. “We’re headed into our nineteenth year as the Outback Bowl sponsor and Outback Steakhouse is proud to be the longest active title sponsor for any college bowl game.” “It’s an honor for our organization to be associ- ated with the finest restaurant company in the world,” said Outback Bowl President/CEO Jim McVay. Outback Steakhouse is the ultimate corporate citizen in our community. Outback Bowl supporters celebrat-ed the 2013 college football season andkicked off the bowls fall event calendarOctober 3rd at the annual HappyHour Huddle at Splitsville. Theunique restaurant/entertainment con-cept is located at the Channelside BayPlaza entertainment complex. About600 Bowl sponsors, Club Members,local media and other VIP guestsenjoyed a wide array of food, includingsushi, calamari, sliders, pizza and que-sadillas. Of course a number of guests

mixed in some bowling and billiards as well.

All in all, it was a fantastic wayto begin the season! The Huddle isthe first of four fall VIP events thatOutback Bowl Club Members andSponsors get to attend leading up to the big game.

About 1,300 Outback Bowl members and sponsors are expected toget a very unique experience onNovember 7th at the always popularForte Group Feast on the Fifty eventin Raymond James Stadium.

Invited guests will get to mingle onthe field of the stadium where the bowlgame is played and even get a chance tokick a field-goal. Then they will get a50 yard line seat, literally, as they feaston barbecue at their tables located right
