• The oceans are a fundamental but delicate part of the Earth’s biosphere and essential to sustaining life on the planet.

preservation of human life.

• There are more than 3 billion people live in close proximity to the coast.

The healthy oceans and seas are essential to a more sustainable future for all.However, oceans are facing to ecological risks that can negatively affect the social and economic prospects of all countries.

UN Member States committed to protect of oceans and marine ecosystems.Establishing an effective governance regime for the oceans economy is essential to creating and regulating a sustainable balance between the utilization of marine resources and the protection of marine ecosystems.
