MyŠKODA APPMeet Paul, the interactive assistant of the MyŠKODA App (for Android

and iOS systems), who can provide help in various daily situations. You can use him to access information about your car or for a complete description of what controls what, what each warning lamp means, etc. Paul can also keep an eye on the dates in your planner. Not only will you never forget a meeting, but your assistant will also advise you on how to get there.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROLUsing a radar device in the front bumper, the ACC, besides maintaining the preselectedspeed, maintains a safe distance from vehicles in front of you.

PUT EXTRA EYES ON THE ROADTravelling is safer with an alert co-driver. Hence the new FABIA comes with plenty of assistants allowing you to react to any situation promptly. Some of the systems can even prevent an impending collision all by themselves.

FRONT ASSISTThis assistant system isdesigned to monitor thedistance from the vehicleahead, including automatic deceleration and braking. Just like the ACC, FrontAssist uses the radar device in the front bumper.

REAR TRAFFIC ALERTThis assistant, which comes as part of theBlind Spot Detect system and uses the same radarsensors, helps you reverse safely from a parking space during poor visibility.

BLIND SPOT DETECTUsing radar sensors in the rearbumper, Blind Spot Detect monitorsthe blind areas behind and beside thecar. Based on the distance and speedof the surrounding vehicles, it decideswhether or not it should warn the driver.

PARK DISTANCE CONTROLParking the FABIA is easier and safer with the parking sensors integrated in the front and rear bumper,which check the car’sdistance from any obstacles.

REAR-VIEW CAMERAYour car can also beequipped with a rear-view camera located on the handle of the 5th door. It monitors the space behind the car and indicates the driving lanes, based onthe vehicle width.

DRIVER ALERT (Fatigue Detection)Driver Alert reduces the risk of a fatigue

-induced emergency. By monitoring driver behaviour, the system assesses

the degree of driver fatigue and, if necessary, warns of the need for a rest

and break in the journey.

FRONT AIRBAGSWhile the driver airbag is enclosed in the steeringwheel, the passenger airbag is located in the dashboard.If needed, this can bedeactivated when a child seat is installed on the front seat.

HEAD AIRBAGSUpon activation, head airbags create a wall protecting the frontand rear occupants against head injury.

SIDE AIRBAGSThese two airbags protect the pelvis and chest ofthe driver and front seat passenger in the event of a side collision.

In extreme situations, where the driver cannot actively affect the outcome, the car’s passive safety elements take over – like the airbags. In the new FABIA you are protected by six airbags, which come as standard.

KESSY / EASY STARTThe car can be equipped with KESSY (Keyless Entry, Start and exit System) or with the simpler version called EasyStart. A Start/Stop button for keyless switching on and off of the engine is located on the steering column.
