tretford® Acousticord...
Acoustic wallcovering
tretford® Acousticord with
its original ribbed texture, is a
contempory european surface
that creates an architectural
look in any commercial space.
Acousticord is engineered
specially for walls.
In a blend of natural fibres and nylons, AcoustiCord has the inviting tactile aesthetics of wool. Its principle component, goat hair (80%) is a by-product of goat farming for the cashmere industry. The goat hair represents pre consumer control as the hair would normally be discarded, being too coarse to be used for cashmere cloth. The hair is incredibly durable and very hard wearing, yet feels surprisingly soft to touch. AcoustiCord is anti-static. The backing for Acousticord is jute, which is a renweable resource and is used un-dyed.

Roll, Tile and Rugs Technical Specification & Maintenance
Maintenance
tretford® does not attract or easily hold dirt and is cleaned under normal
conditions with a handheld brush vacuum. Periodically vacuum in both directions.
Pay particular attention to surfaces directly in line with heating/air conditioning vents.
Those areas may require more frequent vacuuming. Remove spots and stains with
a stain remover.
We recommend the use of a dry or low moisture extraction cleaning system such
as HOST Dry Extraction Cleaning System.
HOST offers a spot removal kit which contains appropriate spot remover liquid and
sponges. Using a dry cleaning system for spots and spills leaves the wallcarpet
uniformly clean with no evidence of spot removal. Quick action may prevent a
permanent stain. Low moisture is suitable for both periodic and deep cleaning.
Many accidental spills and stains can be solved if a few simple rules are followed.
1. Do not use shampoos and cleaners with a
spirit base.
2. If spillages occur, never rub the carpet. Spillages and cleaning solutions
should be blotted up by gently pressing a white towel or similarly absorbent
material against the affected area.
3. Act quickly. The longer a spill is left unattended, the harder it is to remove.

tretford® Roll is made from carded fibres formed into a continuous corrugation
and bonded with PVC or 100% natural latex to a hessian backing. Standards
