One Voice, United in Prayer

On behalf of the National Day of Prayer (NDP) Task Force, I want to take a moment to share with you some of the exciting ways God has been expanding our ministry and increasing America’s awareness of the significance and power of prayer. Seeds have been planted and lives changed – the Lord is moving in this great nation, and we are privileged to be a part of His ongoing work.

Each year brings new opportunities to champion the cause of prayer and much of the credit goes to a dynamic network of volunteers. Their dedicated efforts within their communities, coupled with a greater focus on the impact of social media, brought the NDP message to more than 1.5 million people per week! Approximately 42,000 gatherings resulted. From churches, parks, and civic centers to the Cannon House Office Building in Washington, D.C., millions of men and women raised their hearts and voices before the Lord in a public expression of their religious freedom… and this was just the beginning of one incredible year!

It was a season of firsts as we launched the Pray for America Rally Tour where we traveled more than 13,000 miles, by bus, through 34 states where over 101,000 people joined with us in prayer. Then in October, 22,000 people in 10 countries viewed our first ever, 27-hour PrayerCast featuring the foremost teachers on prayer via a state-of-the-art web stream. Ashwin in Namibia, Africa, wrote us saying, “it is so awesome to see how people are standing together, praying for their leaders” and Caleb wrote, “I am watching the program live from Bergen, Norway, and may you all be blessed for spreading the gospel! Let’s praise the Lord!”

There has never been a more crucial time for people of faith to come together before God on behalf of our nation. May I ask you to consider making a financial contribution to undergird our efforts?
