Hello Everyone, I can't believe the news lately, it seems as though 4/5ths of what we read\see\hear is tragic. I would like to take this opportunity to remind our group that we are a group that performs acts of charity\volunteer work. If any of you has ideas for fundraisers or other ways to help out moms and kids in our community, please contact Kristen K. I'm thrilled that more moms are step-ping forward to be coordinators. I hope this good streak will continue and that members will feel welcome to contact board members and/or coordinators with suggestions and ideas. The board is currently drafting job descriptions for roles being filled. These will be sent to all members once they is finalized. This will give everyone a chance to see what is involved with being a board member and if they have further interest, they can contact the
current board member. Unfortunately, I have misplaced our binder. I'm currently working on getting some information on elections and hope to purchase a new binder before I leave office in June. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this is causing our group. As I type this, the weather report is forecasting quite a lot of snow...what is that old saying about March...'in like a lion, out like a lamb' and vice versa. I do enjoy the snow, but the bitter cold has gotten me looking forward to park days in the warmer months ahead. Hoping everyone had a great Valentine’s Day, I noticed CVS was putting out chocolate bunnies...is there no rest to the merchandising? Best Regards, Jenn Brack

This is an easy way to make a very sweet, edible necklace or bracelet using licorice whips and Fruit Loops cereal and/or Cheerios.
SWEET NECKLACE OR BRACELET
• Use long licorice whips for necklaces and short ones for bracelets - leave a lot of extra room for tying the ends.
• String the cereal onto the licorice whips.
• Tie the ends together
• Wear and eat!
Attention MOMS Club Members! If your name is on this list, I still need your birthday (day/month only). Please email or call Harmony.

My daughter loves to play with the paper tags that come off of character clothing. (For instance, her new Blues Clues tee-shirt had a cute tag with Blue on it.) These are not made for durability, but she really enjoys them. This neat idea came to mind:
• Stick the tag to a business card sized magnet
• Place contact paper or the like over the front of the tag
• Trim the edges of the magnet and the contact paper
Voila! A nifty home-made magnet that the kids will love to play with!

“Be Koool” patches really work! These soft cooling gel sheets are so much better than the old cool facecloth technique. Jessy seemed more comfortable and the fever went down more rapidly than with the medicine alone. The sheet stays in place without sticking to hair and removes easily when ready to dispose. Found ei-ther in the cold remedy section or infant/child medicine aisle of the drug store, these go for about $3.99/box of 4
